Klipsch T5 II True Wireless: Three wireless in-ears, also available as McLaren Edition

Loudspeaker specialist Klipsch has announced three new wireless in-ear models with the model names T5 II True Wireless, T5 II True Wireless Sport and T5 II True Wireless Sport McLaren Edition. Compared to the direct predecessors of the T5 Series, the new models are approximately one-quarter smaller and fit better into the wearer’s ear.

All headphones have an external metal antenna, which is intended to improve radio communication. The improved ear fit is also ensured by each model with a total of six silicone ear inserts. The manufacturer specifies a battery life of eight hours, while the charging case (made of metal with USB-C connection) can supply power for a further 24 hours. Wireless charging is only possible with the charging case for the Sport and Sport Mc-Laren Edition models.

The Klipsch T5 II True Wireless features 5.0mm drivers with a frequency response of 10Hz to 19kHz. Audio codecs supported include SBC, AAC, and aptX. Wireless connectivity is via Bluetooth 5.0, while phone calls are enabled by a total of four beamforming microphones. The transparent mode allows the environment to be clearly perceived, while voice assistants on the smartphone can be activated with headphone buttons.

The Klipsch T5 II True Wireless will also be available in the Sport McLaren Edition. The McLaren Formula 1 team is the official sponsor and partner of the in-ears. The model will be released as a limited special edition in the signature black and orange McLaren design. The charging case is then IP67 certified. The McLaren edition also comes with a memory foam ear mould and three different sized ear wings. Other goodies include a McLaren book and a metal card with serial number.
