Kolink Unity Series: Convertible midi tower with exciting features presented

Kolink has introduced the new Unity Series midi tower. The visually appealing towers should not only convince gamers and are characterized by a changeable design with interchangeable front panels including premium features.

The Unity Series

The visual highlight of the Kolink Unity Series is the attractive front with interchangeable design elements. Three interchangeable front panels are available for each of the cases. For the Unity Adapt model, the manufacturer relies on two vents on the front for best airflow, while the Unity Nexus relies on a mirrored front including side air intakes and provides a clean look.

In addition to the customizable RGB lighting on the front, both cases feature a Kolink Umbra Void 120 mm ARGB PWM fan on the back and a Kolink Classic 120 mm PWM fan on the front. Additionally, two more 120mm or three 140mm fans can be installed on the front, as well as three 120/140mm fans on the lid.

If desired, however, a 140 mm fan can also be installed on the rear directly from the factory. There is also plenty of room for heat exchangers: there is room for radiators of up to 420 mm on the front, and they can be 360 mm long on the top. There is also room for a 120 or 140 mm radiator at the back. Both models of the Unity Series are compatible with motherboards up to E-ATX and also offer plenty of space for radiators and extra-large graphics cards.

The interior of the new midi tower

The interior of the two models of the Kolink Unity Series is also rich in variants. The interior is completely black and features a power supply cover that contributes to the tidy look. There is room for two 3.5-inch HDDs under the cover. Alternatively, two 2.5-inch SSDs can also be installed here.

There is also room for two 2.5-inch drives on the back of the motherboard tray, which can be attached with the included removable brackets. On the bottom of the case is a removable dust filter that protects an optional ATX power supply up to 250mm in length. A tempered glass side panel stylishly showcases the installed hardware.

Graphics cards with a length of up to 415 mm can be installed. When using a 45 mm radiator and 25 mm fan, a length of 345 mm is still possible. CPU coolers with a height of up to 180 mm are also supported. Three slot high GPUs can also be installed vertically with the included bracket and a separately available compatible Kolink PCI-E riser cable.

Additionally, the side-mounted I/O panel on the front features a USB Type-C 3.2 port, two USB Type-A 3.0 ports, as well as a USB 2.0 port and HD audio connectors. Cables are routed directly behind the motherboard tray for easy cable management.

Prices and Availability

The Kolink Unity Adapt and Nexus cases are available for pre-order now at Caseking’s shop. The manufacturer’s MSRP is €109.99 for both models. The alternative front bezels for the Kolink Unity Adapt (Meridian, Skyspace and Quasar) cost €14.90 each, while the bezels for the Kolink Unity Nexus (Vector, Landscape and Radial) are priced at €17.90. Delivery is scheduled for the end of August 2021.
