LC-Power LC-NB-14-N5095-12GB: Manufacturer presents first notebook

The German Silent Power Electronics GmbH has been a household name for PC enthusiasts for high-quality components. Now they are also entering the notebook market and present the LC-Power LC-NB-14-N5095-12GB their first laptop, which combines an Intel Celeron processor N5095 with strong hardware.

LC-Power LC-NB-14-N5095-12GB: The hardware

With the LC-NB-14-N5095-12GB, LC-Power presents the first notebook developed in-house and thus starts into a completely new category. For the start, one relies on a 14.1 inch device, which one combines with strong hardware.

The notebook measures 324 x 206 x 19 mm when closed and only weighs 1.34 kg – without the power supply. Inside, an Intel Celeron processor N5095 10 nm (Jasper Lake 10 nm / Gen. 11) does its work. The quad-core CPU offers a clock rate of 2.0 – 2.9 GHz.

It is supported by 12 GB LPDDR4x SDRAM (2x 6 GB LPDDR4x / 2133 MHz) and a 256 GB M.2 SSD. LC-Power relies on an anti-reflective, matte Full HD LCD panel (1920 x 1080 pixels) with a refresh rate of 60 Hz. It has a brightness of 220 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 800:1.

The other features

Due to its compact size, the port selection of the LC-Power LC-NB-14-N5095-12GB turns out to be quite manageable. One USB Type-C and one USB Type-A port are available, and there is also a micro SD card reader, as well as a combined 3.5 mm jack.

A 0.9 megapixel webcam, built-in speakers, WiFi IEEE 802.11 a/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, an illuminated QWERTY keyboard and a 5,000 mAh battery round out the features. Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit) is also pre-installed on the LC-Power LC-NB-14-N5095-12GB.

The manufacturer does not mention concrete prices or a launch date for the notebook. It is, like all components from LC-Power, available at well-stocked retailers.
