Lenovo has launched the IdeaCentre AIO 24ILL11, a new all-in-one desktop PC, internationally, which is clearly modeled after Apple’s iMac. Unlike Apple’s desktop, which currently ships with an M4 chip and a 60-Hz display, Lenovo is relying on Intel’s Lunar Lake processors and a display with up to 100 Hz.
Lunar Lake and Arc Graphics Instead of Apple Silicon
Buyers can choose between the Core Ultra 5 226V and the Core Ultra 7 256V, both from Intel’s Lunar Lake family. Both models are limited to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM running at 8533 MT/s, but depending on the model, they each feature either an Arc 130V or Arc 140V graphics unit.
Storage is provided by an M.2-2280 SSD via PCIe 4.0 x4. The rest of the feature set includes 3-watt stereo speakers from Harman and a 5-megapixel webcam above the display.
24-inch Panel with Optional Touchscreen
The 24-inch IPS panel has a Full HD resolution and is available both as a standard display and as a multi-touch version with a 100 Hz refresh rate. Lenovo itself has demonstrated with other models, such as the ThinkCentre Neo 50a 24 Gen 7, that high refresh rates are increasingly becoming the standard for all-in-one PCs.
On the IdeaCentre AIO 24ILL11, the screen achieves a peak brightness of 250 nits, a contrast ratio of 1,300:1, and covers 99 percent of the sRGB color space. The range of connectivity options is also impressive.
Price and Availability
In Germany, the Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO 24ILL11 with a Core Ultra 5 226V, 16 GB of RAM, and a 512 GB SSD is available starting at 999 euros in the official Lenovo store. Configurations featuring the more powerful Core Ultra 7 256V and the Arc 140V are likely to be correspondingly more expensive; Lenovo has not yet provided specific prices for these models.
