Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 5i: Exciting detachable introduced

Lenovo has introduced a new detachable. The IdeaPad Duet 5i is not only supposed to score with a compact design. On top of that, it should be able to offer a high screen quality and Active Pen support.

Different equipment options

The Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 5i is supposed to be available in different features. Depending on your preferences, you should be able to buy the detachable with the Intel Core i7-1255U, the Core i7-1235U, the Core i3-1215U and the Intel Pentium 8505. You also have freedom of choice in terms of working memory. Besides an 8 GB LPDDR4x RAM, you should also be able to choose a 16 GB LPDDR4x RAM. According to Lenovo, a fast M.2 SSD with 128 GB in the base configuration and 1 TB in the maximum configuration is used for storage. Windows 11 Home is to be used as the operating system.

High-resolution display

The detachable has a 12.35-inch display. This resolves with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, which should provide a razor-sharp image. Thanks to a screen brightness of 450 cd/m², you should be able to see everything well even in bright environments. Creatives who practice image or video editing will benefit from a color space coverage in the DCI-P3 range of 96 percent. The other features should also make it clear that the detachable is ideally suited for mobile work. The extensive connectivity also contributes to that. Lenovo provides the device with two USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 ports, which are supposed to be multifunctional, as well as a 3.5 mm jack. An integrated Wi-Fi 6E module is even supposed to provide fast wireless Internet in the top configuration.

Other wireless connections are possible thanks to Bluetooth 5.2. Lenovo also wants to deliver in the field of entertainment with its device that weighs just 809 grams. The two built-in speakers with a power of 1 watt each should even be able to offer the Dolby Atmos standard. The built-in battery is supposed to give the detachable a total of 11 hours of battery life. It is surprising how quickly the IdeaPad Duet 5i can be recharged. Three more hours of use are supposed to be possible after a quarter of an hour on power. You should get the optimal total package if you get Lenovo’s Active Pen 3 as an accessory. The input pen promises comfortable operating options, for example in image editing.

Price and availability

The IdeaPad Duet 5i is scheduled for launch in July 2022. The MSRP is supposed to start at 749 Euros.
