With the Lenovo Legion H5, the manufacturer has announced a new version on the Chinese social network Weibo unveiled an exciting new gaming headset that combines powerful features with an affordable price. On offer are 50 mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.0 and a virtual 7.1 surround sound for (the equivalent of) just under 40 euros.
The Lenovo Legion H5 shows itself in detail
The price-performance ratio of the Lenovo Legion H5 gaming headset is absolutely impressive, at least on paper. The manufacturer relies on 50 mm dynamic drivers that promise a rich sound. The sound can obviously be adjusted to the user’s preferences via an equalizer.
The headset connects either via USB or wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.0, which also allows smartphones and other mobile devices to enjoy the sound. According to the manufacturer, the battery life in wireless mode should be around 24 hours.
Added to this is a virtual 7.1 surround sound, while the Legion H5, which is mostly made of plastic, relies on a low weight along with a high level of carrying comfort. This is also supported by generous ear pads with breathable fabric and a headband with artificial leather padding.
The Lenovo Legion H5 will be offered in either a black or white color scheme, complete with a discreet, light blue LED light on the outside of the earcups. However, further details are still scarce at the moment.
Price and availability of the Legion H5
The Lenovo Legion H5 will initially launch in China on June 24. The RRP there is a low 299 yuan, which is equivalent to just under 42 euros. If and when the headset will also make it to the German market is currently still unclear.
