Lenovo Tab M10 Plus 3rd Gen: Affordable tablet with stylus support presented

Lenovo presented an affordable new tablet at MWC 2022 in Barcelona. The Lenovo Tab M10 Plus 3rd Gen features numerous improvements compared to the predecessor, supports stylus operation, and has high-quality quad speakers.

MWC 2022: Lenovo Tab M10 Plus 3rd Gen presented

Compared to the second generation, the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus 3rd Gen tablet comes up with many improvements. Among them is a faster processor. This time, the manufacturer relies on a MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core CPU, which is composed of two ARM Cortex-A75 cores with a clock rate of 2.0 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores with 1.8 GHz each.

Depending on the model, between 3 GB and 6 GB of working memory and between 32 GB and 128 GB of flash memory are installed. The latter can be expanded by up to 1 TB via a microSD card.

The display of the new Tab M10 Plus 3rd Gen is based on an IPS panel with a diagonal of 10.6 inches and a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels. The maximum refresh rate is 60 Hz, while the brightness is 400 nits.

Stylus support, sound and battery

Stylus support is another exciting new feature. For example, the separately available Lenovo Precision Pen 2 can be used to perform graphics or drawing tasks. The number of speakers has also been doubled compared to the second generation. Four high-quality speakers are supposed to provide a good sound.

Thanks to a battery with a capacity of 7,700 mAh, the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus 3rd Gen should also last for a long time. According to the manufacturer, a battery life of about 14 hours is achieved when surfing the web. Charging is done via USB Type-C with a maximum of 20 watts.

The tablet relies on an 8-megapixel camera on the front and the back of the device. The Tab M10 Plus is already equipped with Android 12 as the operating system.

Price and Availability

The Lenovo Tab M10 Plus 3rd Gen is expected to be available in stores in April 2022. The MSRP for the tablet is a comparatively cheap 249.00 euros. However, only a 10-watt power supply is included in the scope of delivery. The Lenovo Precision Pen 2 is available separately for around 49 Euros.
