Lenovo’s new flagship tablet is called Tab P12 Pro, and at least on paper it is quite impressive. A 120 Hz display, Snapdragon 870 and up to 8 GB of RAM are on the books, which the manufacturer wants to use to mix up the Android tablet market and attack Samsung’s tablets.
AMOLED display and strong specs
The technical specifications of the new Lenovo Tab P12 Pro tablet definitely make us want more. For example, the manufacturer relies on a 12.6-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, which offers a fast frame rate of 120 Hz and comes to an impressive maximum brightness of 600 nits.
The necessary computing power of the Android tablet comes from Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 870 SoC, which is optionally supported by 6 or 6 GB of working memory. Depending on the configuration, 128 GB or 256 GB of storage is available, which can be expanded by up to 512 GB via a micro-SD slot. The battery life of the 10200 mAh battery is also quite impressive with the stated 17 hours, especially since the tablet can be recharged quickly thanks to the 45-watt charging power.
The front camera resolves with 8 megapixels, and on the rear, Lenovo relies on a dual-camera setup for the Tab P12 Pro, which consists of a 13 MP main sensor and a 5 MP wide-angle camera. Pen input is supported, and a 5G variant is also available depending on the model. Android 11 is already preinstalled ex-works.
