At the same time, LG uses its own local AI solution called gram chat On-Device AI. This is based on the EXAONE 3.5 sLLM small language model and runs directly on the device.
The advantage: many tasks can be performed locally without sending data to external servers. This improves data protection and enables AI functions even without an internet connection. For more complex tasks, however, the system uses cloud resources.
Another focus is on extended device networking. The gram Link software serves as a central interface between different platforms. This allows users to share content and workflows across multiple devices.
