LG is taking the home theater experience to a new level with the new OLED evo TVs of 2025. By combining advanced artificial intelligence (AI), triple the brightness and personalized features, the company is setting new standards in TV technology. OLED picture quality on a new level
The α11 Gen2 4K AI processor uses deep learning algorithms to analyze and optimize content in real time. This raises sharpness, contrast and color display to a new level. Even low-resolution content benefits from precise AI upscaling, which enables a sharp and natural display.
Another milestone is Dynamic Tone Mapping Professional, which divides each scene into individual areas and optimizes HDR content in a targeted manner. This makes colors appear even more realistic, while contrasts are adjusted more precisely.
With the new Brightness Booster Ultimate technology, the maximum brightness is up to three times higher than with previous OLED models. This is achieved through an improved light control architecture and special light boosting algorithms, which ensure a brilliant picture even in bright rooms.
Immersive sound with AI Sound Pro
In addition to the picture quality, the sound has also been optimized. AI Sound Pro analyzes audio data in real time and creates a virtual 11.1.2-channel surround sound that provides an immersive listening experience.
In addition, AI Picture Wizard and AI Sound Wizard automatically adapt the TV settings to the user’s viewing and listening habits. This adjustment is based on a huge database of 1.6 billion picture and 40 million sound profiles to enable a customized display.
For movie lovers, the new Filmmaker Mode® with Ambient Light Compensation offers an authentic cinema experience. The image display automatically adapts to the ambient brightness so that the creative intention of the filmmakers is preserved at all times.
High-end gaming with 165 Hz VRR
The new OLED evo G5 models are specially optimized for gamers. They are the first televisions to offer a variable refresh rate (VRR) of 165 Hz at 4K resolution. This enables particularly smooth gameplay with minimal input lag and up to 165 frames per second.
Thanks to the certification for NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium, the image is output without tearing or stuttering – a decisive advantage for fast response times in competitive games.
Personalized user experience with AI Magic Remote
The new AI-supported smart functions ensure particularly intuitive operation.

The LG OLED evo 2025 models were presented at the LG Convention 2025 in Frankfurt. The market launch will take place later this year.
