LG wins at the CES 2026 Innovation Awards

LG Electronics received multiple awards at this year’s CES 2026 Innovation Awards – including the prestigious “Best of Innovation Award” twice. This once again underlines the Group’s leading role in the development of modern display technologies and intelligent lifestyle solutions. The company’s OLED televisions and monitors were particularly impressive in several product categories, as were new smart household appliances.

  • Two “Best of Innovation” awards for LG products
  • LG SIGNATURE OLED T: the world’s first transparent 4K OLED TV with wireless signal transmission
  • Outstanding achievements in imaging, gaming and home appliances
  • New innovations in robot vacuum cleaners, micro RGB TVs and 6K monitors

OLED technology as a driver of innovation

The LG SIGNATURE OLED T, which received the Best of Innovation Award in the “Imaging” category, took center stage at the awards. With its 77-inch, fully transparent OLED panel and razor-sharp 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160), the TV offers a unique entertainment experience. Thanks to LG’s wireless AV transmission technology, content can be played without visible cables – a decisive step forward in terms of design and function.

The OLED T has already won awards at IFA 2025, where it was named “Best of IFA” and “Best in Home Entertainment”. The device marks a clear milestone in the development of modern display technologies and illustrates LG’s claim to combine innovation and aesthetics.

In addition to the OLED T, LG’s current OLED models also received several awards in the “Gaming”, “eSports” and “Computer Hardware & Components” categories. This once again confirms LG as a pioneer in premium TV and monitor production.

Progress in household and lifestyle appliances

In addition to entertainment solutions, LG also scored in the area of smart household appliances. The new robot vacuum cleaner with integrated station won in the “Household Appliances” category. Its compact design makes it possible to store the appliance under sinks or behind doors to save space. Technologically, LG is setting new standards in hygiene and cleaning performance with the world’s first steam cleaning system in a robot vacuum cleaner.

Other innovative products also received awards, including a premium LCD TV with micro RGB technology, which impresses with its particularly precise color reproduction. The LG StanbyME 2, a portable screen of the next generation, also received an award. This model combines mobility with flexibility and is designed for both entertainment and productive use.

In the professional sector, the LG UltraFine evo 6K monitor received recognition. It is the world’s first monitor to combine a 6K resolution (6,144 × 3,456 pixels) with the new Thunderbolt 5 interface. LG is thus targeting creative professionals who demand the highest standards of color fidelity, connectivity and detail display.

A strong signal ahead of CES 2026

The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) presents the CES Innovation Awards annually in the run-up to the world’s largest electronics trade fair in Las Vegas. LG has been a recurring winner for years and the latest awards show that its focus on premium design, display quality and smart functionality continues to bear fruit.

Conclusion

With the numerous CES 2026 Innovation Awards, LG once again confirms its status as an innovation leader in consumer electronics. Whether transparent OLED displays, smart household robots or professional 6K monitors – the Group presents technologies that are not only forward-looking but also practical.
