Clean cable management for tidy builds
An outstanding feature of the RB series is the cable management system fully integrated into the power supply housing. There is an integrated cable guide on one side, while Velcro strips are attached on three sides, which can be used to fix excess cables directly to the power supply unit. This allows the interior of a PC to be kept tidy – an advantage both in terms of appearance and airflow.
The semi-modular design also ensures flexibility: only the most important power cables are permanently integrated, while SATA and peripheral cables can be connected as required. This solution reduces unnecessary cabling and facilitates installation in small or visually demanding systems.
With this combination of fixed and optional cable layout, LIAN LI is primarily aimed at users who want to implement high-quality builds with efficient cable management without sacrificing comfort or performance.
Full compatibility with the latest hardware
Technically, the RB series complies with the Intel ATX 3.1 standard and is therefore ideally equipped for modern and future systems. The 650 and 750 watt versions have a native PCIe Gen 5.1 (12V-2×6) connection that delivers up to 450 watts of power – ideal for the latest high-end GPUs. The 750-watt model also offers a 12V-2×6 to PCIe 6+2 cable, which means that powerful AMD graphics cards and additional components can also be reliably supplied.
Inside, LIAN LI relies on a single-rail design of the +12 V rail with DC-to-DC conversion. As a result, the voltage stability remains constant even under load. This architecture not only improves voltage regulation, but also increases energy efficiency and reduces unnecessary voltage fluctuations – important factors for systems with sensitive high-end components.
Quiet operation and certified efficiency
Cooling is provided by a 135 mm Fluid Dynamic Bearing fan, which operates between 33.2 and 40.1 dBA during operation and therefore remains barely audible. Even under full load, the fan keeps temperatures stable without noticeably increasing the noise level. Together with the 80 PLUS Bronze certification, which guarantees an efficiency of up to 85%, the RB series works reliably, efficiently and quietly.
In addition, all models have a range of integrated protection mechanisms, including OCP, OVP, SCP, OPP, UVP and OTP. These offer protection against overloads, short circuits and overheating – a decisive factor for the longevity and stability of the installed components.
