With the new RS Series, LIAN LI presents a power supply series that addresses an area that is often underestimated in modern builds: the physical orientation of the power connector and cable routing. The RS1000G and RS1200G models rely on a world-first rotating AC inlet, double-sided 20+4 pin mainboard connectors, fully modular cable design and a quiet 135 mm fan with zero RPM mode – designed for powerful systems with high cable density and tight installation space. The package is complemented by the optional RS HUB, a magnetic USB expansion module that decouples internal USB headers from limited mainboard space and thus provides more flexibility, especially in packed high-end systems.
- World’s first ATX power supply with rotatable AC input for flexible installation directions.
- Double-sided 20+4 pin mainboard connector for shorter, cleaner cable runs.
- Fully modular, soft flat cables with magnetic cable ties and optional RS HUB with four USB 2.0 headers.
- 80 PLUS Gold with Cybenetics Platinum efficiency, 1000 W or 1200 W, 135 mm FDB fan with zero RPM mode and ten-year warranty.
Rotatable AC inlet and layout flexibility
The central feature of the RS Series is the rotatable AC inlet, which allows the AC inlet to be rotated by 90 degrees in order to adapt it to the installation situation in the housing. In compact power supply tunnels or vertical PSU mounts, the power connection can be routed out of confined spaces, which not only makes connection easier, but also reduces unnecessary bending radii and tension on the cable.

When the AC inlet is rotated, the modular output ports move to the side, making the cables easier to reach even after the power supply unit has been installed. LIAN LI thus addresses a practical problem of many builds, where subsequent adjustments to GPU or peripheral cables are otherwise only possible with partial disassembly of the system. The concept is supplemented by 20+4-pin outputs on both sides of the power supply unit: Depending on the case layout, the 24-pin strand to the motherboard can take the shortest, most direct route in each case without having to be crossed over the top of the power supply or bent severely. This makes for a tidier interior, facilitates access to other connections on the power supply unit and at the same time leaves space for direct mounting of the RS HUB on the PSU flank.
Efficiency, component quality and cooling
Technically, LIAN LI has clearly positioned the RS Series in the upper mid to high-end segment: Both models – RS1000G and RS1200G – are based on the ATX 3.1 standard, have a fully modular design and carry 80 PLUS Gold as well as Cybenetics Platinum and PPLP Gold certifications. This achieves an efficiency of over 90 percent in the typical load range, which reduces waste heat, lowers fan speeds and also optimizes power consumption from the socket in everyday use.
Inside, LIAN LI relies on industrial EPCOS capacitors, which offer advantages in terms of thermal and mechanical stress thanks to their compact design and robustness, combined with Japanese capacitors for long-term stability and vibration resistance. Cooling is provided by a 135 mm fan with Fluid Dynamic Bearing, which has a zero RPM mode and can stand completely still at low loads to support silent builds. According to the manufacturer, the sound pressure level under full load is just over 36 dBA, which is a typical noise level for power supply units in this performance class, but comparatively gentle due to the large fan surface area.
A complete protection package is on board to protect the hardware, including overcurrent, overvoltage, overtemperature, overload, short-circuit, undervoltage, no-load and surge protection (OCP, OVP, OTP, OPP, SCP, UVP, NLP, SIP). Both models operate in a temperature range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius and come with a ten-year manufacturer’s warranty, with a separate two-year warranty for the RS HUB.
Cable equipment, RS HUB and variants
The RS Series has a fully modular design and relies on soft, flat cables for CPU, GPU, SATA and PATA, which can be routed around tight radii better than classic round cables thanks to their flexible insulation. Magnetic cable ties help to fix strands along housing walls or PSU shrouds without additional adhesive pads or cable combs. Both power supplies provide a 600 W 12 V 2×6 GPU line, several 6+2 pin PCIe strands as well as several SATA and PATA cables, so that both current high-end GPUs as well as classic drives and peripherals are covered. Depending on the model, up to 14 cables are available in total, including the specific USB connections for the RS HUB.
The RS HUB itself functions as a magnetic USB 2.0 expander with four internal headers that can be used to connect up to eight devices – such as AIO pumps, fan controllers, RGB hubs or front panel extensions. It can either be attached directly to the side PSU surface and supplied with power and data from there or operated at any position in the housing using a magnet and SATA connection. The RS HUB is included as standard with the RS1200G, with the RS1000G it is optional or part of a bundle, depending on the variant.
LIAN LI is announcing the following variants and prices at market launch (RRP, each in US dollars).

The market launch is scheduled for December 5, 2025, the power supplies will be available in black and white in a compact ATX form factor with 150 × 86 × 150 mm and active power factor correction (PF > 0.9 at full load). However, availability is currently only available in the USA (e.g. at Newegg) and in the UK. It is not yet clear when the series will come to Germany.
