Lian Li is expanding its UNI-FAN family with two new models: The UNI FAN SL FLEX and the UNI FAN CL FLEX are the most affordable entry points yet into Lian Li’s L-Wireless ecosystem. Both 120-mm fans utilize the new FLEX Receiver and have been available in stores since July 31, 2026—the CL FLEX starts at $16.99, and the SL FLEX at $21.99 (MSRP).

Two Control Modes via the FLEX Receiver

At the heart of both Lian Li UNI FAN FLEX models is the new FLEX Receiver, a compact module powered via a 4-pin PWM header. In standard mode, lighting and fan speed are controlled wirelessly via Wireless L-Connect. Those who prefer centralized control can connect the included 5V 3-pin ARGB cable and hand off lighting control to the motherboard software—this allows the fans to be synchronized with the rest of the system.

Each receiver controls up to four SL or CL-FLEX fans. Handy for those upgrading: The receiver is backward compatible with existing CL-Wireless fans, so the FLEX series can be integrated into existing builds without having to buy a whole new setup.

UNI FAN SL FLEX: Infinity Mirror on Both Sides

The SL FLEX replaces the previous aluminum plates with an Infinity Mirror design on both side frames and swaps the silver hub medallion for a black one. The two separate lighting zones, with a total of 52 LEDs, remain unchanged. The fan spins at up to 2,000 RPM and delivers up to 66.5 CFM of airflow at 2.5 mmH₂O static pressure and 29 dBA. A reverse-rotation variant for clean front and bottom mounting is also available.

UNI FAN CL FLEX: Proven Design, New Control System

The CL FLEX retains the look and performance of the original but adapts the FLEX Receiver for expanded control. With up to 2,100 rpm, 77.34 CFM, 2.52 mmH₂O, and 29.8 dBA, it is the best value in the series in terms of airflow. Like the SL FLEX, it comes in standard and reverse versions, as well as in black and white.

L-Connect 3 and L-Wireless Sync Controller

The FLEX series manages fan curves and lighting via L-Connect 3—either using presets or a completely custom profile. The three-pack includes the L-Wireless Sync Controller, the hub of the L-Wireless ecosystem. In addition to the FLEX fans, this controller can also manage the UNI-FAN Wireless series, the HYDROSHIFT II coolers, the LANCOOL 217 INF and V150 INF cases, and Strimer Wireless —each controller supports up to ten channels.

Pricing and Availability

Both fans will be available starting July 31, 2026; in Germany, they can be purchased from Caseking (SL FLEX) and Caseking (CL FLEX), among others. Here’s an overview of the MSRPs:

Model Single Pack Three-pack (with controller)
UNI FAN SL FLEX $21.99 $69.99
UNI FAN CL FLEX $16.99 $54.99

The L-Wireless Controller is included only with the three-packs. For more details, see the product pages for the UNI FAN SL FLEX and UNI FAN CL FLEX.

Conclusion

With the Lian Li UNI FAN SL FLEX and CL FLEX, wireless convenience is moving significantly closer to mainstream pricing. The SL FLEX stands out with its double-sided Infinity Mirror for that wow factor, while the CL FLEX remains the top pick for airflow value. The fact that the FLEX receiver is backward-compatible and offers two control modes makes both models an easy way to get started—whether with or without L-Connect 3.
