Liv Amiti E+ 1 and E+ 2: New trekking e-bikes for women with strong equipment

Manufacturer Liv expands the Amiti range of women’s e-bikes with two new models. The Liv Amiti E+ 1 and E+ 2 both come with a strong equipment and are compatible with the Range Extender.

On the already existing E+ 3, manufacturer Liv lets two more trekking e-bikes follow, which are aimed primarily at ladies with the low entry. The Liv Amiti E+ 1 and E+ 2 are equipped with a cutting-edge, strong equipment.

Both models rely on the SyncDrive Sport2 mid-motor from Yamaha, which delivers 75 Nm of torque. Also installed is an EnergyPak Smart battery with 625 Wh capacity, which should allow a range of up to 190 kilometers.

However, both e-bikes are also compatible with the optional Range Extender, which further increases the range – only the smallest model with the XS frame size is not compatible with the extension, but the other sizes (S, M and L) are.

The 1.8 kg Range Extender adds another 250 watt-hour battery and is automatically activated when the normal main battery runs low. The differences between the Liv Amiti E+1 and E+2 turn out to be relatively minor.

While the slightly more expensive E+ 1 relies on a slightly better Shimano Deore LinkGlide M5130 shifting system and other components from Shimano, the E+ 2 uses Tektro brakes and brake levers, for example. A brake light function is also only available on the E+ 1.

High riding comfort

Manufacturer Liv promises a particularly high ride comfort for its two e-bikes. Smart Assist is said to provide a smooth ride, while a 100mm suspension fork and off-road gravel tires can handle rough terrain.

Prices and availabilities

The two trekking e-bikes Liv Amiti E+ 1 and E+ 2 are available directly from the manufacturer, but the models are currently not yet available. The E+ 1 in blue-black color scheme has a recommended retail price of 3,699 euros, while the E+ 2 in orange-black is priced at 3,299 euros.
