The Logitech G502 X series is a new gaming mouse that takes over from the popular G502. It will be offered in G502 X, G502 X LIGHTSPEED and G502 X PLUS variants, which are expected to score with innovative features.
Logitech G502 X series with three variants
Whether wired, wireless or with additional features, the Logitech G502 X is available for every requirement.
“We’ve given the G502 sweeping design and technology updates that take the popular mouse into a new era of gaming. With its light weight and advanced technological equipment, the new G502 X promises to seamlessly continue the tradition of the G502 series,” reveals Ujesh Desai, vice president and general manager of Logitech Gaming.
The design builds on the manufacturer’s G502, but relies on current technologies. For the first time, newly designed optical-mechanical LIGHTFORCE switches are used. A new microswitch technology that combines the advantages of an optical switch with the click feeling of a mechanical switch.
This is said to result in exceptional performance, setting new standards in terms of release speed, low latency and precision, if the manufacturer is to be believed.
25,000 DPI and new technologies
The Logitech G502 X series uses the manufacturer’s HERO 25K sensor, which performs 25,000 DPI and offers high accuracy. In addition, the mice rely on a redesigned, reversible and removable DPI switch button that adapts to different hand sizes and grip styles.
In addition, the smooth scroll wheel features two modes of operation for endless scrolling and a precisely graduated mode for maximum accuracy. The mouse is charged or used with the help of a detachable USB-C cable.
The wireless model, in the form of the Logitech G502 X Lightspeed, uses the manufacturer’s eponymous fast and secure wireless protocol, which, when combined with Lightforce, allows for response times that are up to 68 percent faster than those, of its predecessors.
Two Lightspeed wireless peripherals can also be used from a single receiver. The G502 X-Series also supports Logitech G POWERPLAY wireless charging mats, which provide unlimited battery life without the need for cables.
The G502 X PLUS model also features LIGHTSYNC RGB with 8-zone LED lighting with smooth transitions that can be customized to suit preferences, on/off effects, and power-saving modes through active game detection.
