Logitech launches new StreamCam

With its new StreamCam, Logitech is targeting strammer and content creator. In addition to great image quality, the new webcam offers special capture software that makes configuration easy.

Optimal working tool for streamers and Content Creator

Logitech’s new StreamCam will offer users optimal working conditions with 1080p resolution and a refresh rate of 60fps. A USB-C connection completes the modern overall picture of the StreamCam positively. The StreamCam gives the user a great deal of freedom during installation. It is therefore possible to mount it vertically or horizontally. In addition, thanks to a suitable adapter, it can be mounted on a standard tripod.

Compatible software right on board

Logitech includes capture software with the StreamCam so creative professionals can get started right away. At least on paper, it sounds like a handy little helper. In addition to automating the exposure, it also enables automatic framing. Furthermore, an effective image stabilizer is already integrated. Beside these practical features the software also offers other helpful adjustment possibilities. But the software is by no means a constraint. Popular programs like Split or OBS can of course also be used with the StreamCam.

Comprehensive features

The StreamCam offers powerful face recognition. Here, smart focus and smart exposure in every video should ensure an optimal recording. Smart Framing ensures that the user is always in the focus of the image. This framing is based on a sophisticated AI. Sharp video recordings without annoying jerking should no longer be a problem thanks to the reliable image stabilizer. Since the camera can also be used vertically, recording in Instagram or Facebook portrait format is no problem.

Costs and availability

Logitech is offering the StreamCam in its own online shop from 12 February. From April 3, the camera will also be available in regular stores. You can choose between the two colors white and graphite. The RRP of the StreamCam is 159 Euro.
