Logitech is further expanding its Signature series: The new Signature Comfort Plus range is aimed at anyone who spends long working days at their desk, juggling work, home and multiple devices. The centerpiece is the M850 L – Logitech’s first mouse with a padded palm rest. It is joined by the MK880 keyboard and mouse set and the slightly slimmer M840 L without padding. Available from June 2026.

What makes the Signature Comfort Plus range so special

The basic principle is simple: fewer distractions, more comfort, smoother working. Logitech relies on quiet mouse clicks and low-noise typing for all three products – anyone who has ever sat in an open-plan office and listened to colleagues typing knows why this is relevant. There is also SmartWheel scrolling for fast and precise navigation and the familiar Easy-Switch function, which allows you to switch between up to three devices at the touch of a button.

Anyone who frequently switches between their work computer, home laptop and tablet will be familiar with the chaos: several mice on the desk, constant switching. Easy-Switch solves this problem elegantly. Multi-OS compatibility with Windows, macOS and ChromeOS rounds things off.

M850 L: The first Logitech mouse with a padded palm rest

The unique feature of the Signature Comfort Plus M850 L is the padding directly under the palm of the hand – a first for Logitech. The mouse combines this padding with a molded right-handed profile and rubberized side grips. Anyone who works with the mouse for many hours a day will notice over time what a difference a lack of palm support makes.

The M850 L is technically solid:

  • Padded palm rest (Logitech premiere)
  • Right-handed design with rubberized side grips
  • SmartWheel for precise and fast scrolling
  • Easy-Switch for up to 3 connected devices
  • Customizable buttons via Logi Options+
  • Direct access to the Actions Ring via Logi Options+
  • Multi-OS compatibility
  • Battery life: up to 2 years

Its cheaper sister, the M840 L, offers the same features – just without the pad under the palm. If you don’t need it, you pay less: 49.99 euros instead of 54.99 euros.

MK880: The keyboard and mouse set with double foam padding

The MK880 is the flagship of the new series and packs comfort features into a complete set. The keyboard has a double foam palm rest, curved rows of keys for a more natural hand position and padded keys for a more comfortable typing experience. The typing angle can be adjusted in three stages: 0°, 4° or 8°.

Anyone who types a lot knows that the difference between a good and a bad palm rest is clearly noticeable after a few hours. The combination of curved rows of keys and the double foam pad sounds like a real improvement on the previous Signature set – similar to what Logitech has done with the MX Keys S Combo and the associated MX Palm Rest.

The MK880 keyboard in detail:

  • Palm rest made from double foam
  • Curved rows of keys
  • Typing angle: 0°, 4° and 8° adjustable
  • Padded keys
  • Easy-Switch for up to 3 devices
  • Multi-OS layout (Windows, macOS, ChromeOS)
  • Configurable AI quick access (Copilot, Gemini, ChatGPT)
  • Splash-proof design
  • Supported by Logi Options+
  • Battery life: up to 3 years

Logi Options+: Customize, automate, set up AI access

All devices in the range work with the Logi Options+ software. It can be used to freely assign buttons, set up Smart Actions or create direct shortcuts to AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini or ChatGPT. For meeting users: Logi Tune can also be used to assign Zoom and Teams functions to specific buttons.

This is a feature that is easy to underestimate – until you realize how often you perform the same actions every day. Our test of the Logitech MX Creative Console showed just how much potential there is in configurable peripherals.

Signature Comfort Plus for Business

There are separate business versions of the M850 L (59.99 euros) and the MK880 set (119.99 euros) for corporate use. The main difference lies in the connectivity: the included Logi Bolt USB-C receiver ensures stable connections even in densely occupied wireless networks – a well-known problem in open-plan offices with many Wi-Fi devices. It is also compatible with Logitech Sync, which allows IT departments to keep an eye on firmware status and device management centrally.

Sustainability: Recycled plastic, FSC packaging

Logitech also emphasizes the sustainability approach with the new series. Depending on the color, the plastic parts are made from 49 to 77 percent certified recycled plastic. The packaging is FSC™-certified. The long battery life – three years for the keyboard, two years for the mouse – ensures that battery changes are rare.

Conclusion: Logitech Signature Comfort Plus with real comfort upgrades

The Logitech Signature Comfort Plus series addresses a real need: Anyone who types and clicks for many hours a day realizes that comfort is not a luxury, but prevention. The pad on the M850 L is a real first for Logitech and sounds like a sensible step. Together with the revised MK880 keyboard and the broad feature set of Easy-Switch, Logi Options+ and AI quick access, the range has more to offer than just a new logo. If you are currently looking for an ergonomic office mouse, you should also keep an eye on the older Logitech Lift – a comparison is worthwhile. And for those who already rely on the MX line: The MX Master 3S remains the more powerful flagship.
