MagDart from realme to be launched on August 3

The pressure just became too much. Too many leaks about the MagDart have forced realme to confirm the planned release. An official presentation of the counterpart to Apple’s Magsafe technology is scheduled for August 3. We’ll take a look at what realme is planning here.

Too many leaks

This is definitely not what realme had in mind. For example, the Chinese company originally wanted to share its planned MagDart with the public at a later date. However, since the number of leaks floating around on the Internet was massive, the tech experts now decided on an early presentation. On August 3, the technology called “MagDart”, which was obviously inspired by Apple’s Magsafe, is to be presented. We know the idea from Apple, but realme already promises one thing above all: higher speeds.

Wireless charging as the new standard

The focus of MagDart is once again on the possibility of being able to charge one’s smartphone wirelessly. Unlike conventional Qi charging surfaces, however, the inductive charging connection adheres magnetically and reliably to the smartphone. Although it is a kind of copy of Magsafe, realme takes a real pioneer role. After all, the company is the first Android smartphone manufacturer to offer this feature. However, it should already be clear that other well-known names will also jump on the bandwagon and launch their own technology.

Better than MagSafe?

Realme clearly wants to introduce an Android alternative of Apple’s MagSafe at its “realme Magnetic Innovation Event”. However, the Chinese were able to refrain from taking a jab at the US iPhone inventor when announcing their presentation event. MagDart is supposed to be the “fastest magnetic wireless charging standard”. We are curious whether the company can really keep its promises. What is known so far sounds promising in any case.
