Magmove 700C: City e-bike in two versions launches for 1,799 euros
With the Magmove 700C, the manufacturer has introduced a chic new city e-bike. It is offered in two variants, which only differ in terms of the frame. The normal model is accompanied by a step-through bike with a particularly low step-in. The installed 250-watt mid-mounted motor from Bafang delivers 65 Nm of torque.
Magmove 700C: The city e-bike in detail
With the exception of the deep entry, the Magmove 700C and the Magmove 700C Step-Through City E-Bike do not differ from each other. Designers from Austria are responsible for the design of both models, while the e-bikes are assembled in Portugal.

From a purely technical point of view, the e-bike makes quite an impression. It is powered by a 250 W mid-range motor from Bafang, which has a torque of 65 Newton meters. It offers pedal assistance for a maximum of 25 km/h, which should enable the bike to climb steep inclines of up to 30 degrees most of the time.
Additional riding comfort is provided by the Shimano 8-speed transmission, which, according to the manufacturer, should shift particularly sensitively and thus ideally adapts to different road conditions and requirements.
Removable 13 Ah battery
The 700C’s 36 V/13 Ah lithium battery is removable and is said to have a range of 40 to 60 km. It is also safely and invisibly integrated directly into the down tube and can optionally be charged directly in the frame. A charging process thereby takes five to six hours of time. The integrated BMS (Battery Management System) is to protect the battery in all respects and extends its life.
In addition, the Magmove 700C offers two different riding modes: with and without pedal assistance. If the motor is working, you can choose between five different speeds. Optionally, you simply switch to pedal mode in flat terrain to save battery life.
This presents itself technically largely on par with the similarly positioned city e-bike Tenways CGO800S, which, however, turns out to be a bit more expensive, but offers a range of up to 100 km.
More safety
Here, the 700C uses 28-inch pneumatic tires, which are supposed to provide a comfortable ride. In accordance with the Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO), you can also use the city e-bike in road traffic thanks to bright LED headlights and taillights as well as a bell.
There is also an LC display on the left handle, which informs you about the charge level, the speed or the current pedal assist mode, for example.
Added to this are hydraulic dual disc brakes front and rear for an extra measure of safety. The 700C thereby comes to dimensions of 186 x 70 x 108 cm and brings 32 kg weight (including battery). The permissible total weight is 150 kg. Thanks to the adjustable seat, the e-bike is suitable for people with a height of 160-195 cm.
