Marshall, known for its iconic guitar amplifiers and audio devices, has expanded its product range with two new portable Bluetooth speakers: the Emberton III and the Willen II. These models promise not only the classic Marshall sound, but also state-of-the-art technology and a robust design optimized for use on the go. With a combination of attractive design, long battery life and innovative features such as LE Audio and Auracast, the new models set a high standard in the portable speaker segment.

Emberton III: A powerful companion for on the go
The Marshall Emberton III builds on the success of its predecessor Emberton II (our test) and improves the listening experience through the use of LE Audio. This new technology offers higher audio quality with lower latency, which is particularly beneficial for video streaming and gaming. With an impressive battery life of up to 32 hours, the Emberton III can easily play music all day long without the need for a charge.
The Emberton features two Class D amplifiers with 38 watts of power and two 2-inch full-range drivers (10 watts), as well as two passive diaphragms. It also supports True Stereophonic for multidirectional stereo sound.
The compact yet robust design of the Emberton III makes it the ideal companion for outdoor adventures. Thanks to its IP67 certification, the speaker is not only dust and waterproof, but can also withstand extreme conditions. Its 360-degree sound technology ensures that the music is emitted evenly in all directions so that the sound is always clear and balanced, regardless of where you are in the room or outdoors.
Willen II: Compact, robust and versatile
The Marshall Willen II is the smaller but equally powerful alternative to the Emberton III. This speaker is specially designed for those looking for maximum sound with minimum size. With a battery life of over 17 hours, the Willen II offers enough runtime for longer excursions, and its fast charging function ensures that it is ready for use again in no time.
The Willen II is also IP67-certified and therefore ideally suited for use in adverse conditions. Its robust housing can withstand drops and knocks, while the practical strap allows the speaker to be taken or attached anywhere. Despite its compact size, the Willen II delivers a powerful sound that retains the typical Marshall sound character thanks to its 1-inch full-range driver (10 watts) and two passive diaphragms.
Another highlight of both models is the support of Auracast, a technology that allows audio to be sent to multiple devices simultaneously. This is particularly useful for groups who want to listen to the same music without having to share a speaker. This function makes use in social environments even more flexible and interesting.
Price and availability
The Marshall Emberton III is available now for around 169 euros, while the smaller Willen II is offered at a price of around 119 euros. Both models are now available for pre-order and will be in stores from August 26th.
