This week, a notebook and a desktop PC will be delivered from MEDION to ALDI Süd. The laptop is especially aimed at students and the desktop PC is perfect for the home office.
Notebook for home schooling
The MEDION AKOYA E11202 is an 11.6-inch notebook with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9. An Intel Celeron N34500 and 4 GB RAM provide for operation. In addition, the notebook has a flash memory with 64 GB. With the 2 cell Li-Polymer battery with 30.4 Wh it comes to a battery life of up to 8 hours. It also has a webcam and an integrated microphone for teaching from home. The construction of the notebook is very robust and especially designed for students. It should even be able to withstand falls of up to one meter. The notebook’s keyboard and touchpad are also water-resistant and can withstand up to 200 ml. It is also protected from dust with a special coating. With a card reader for microSD memory cards, one USB 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen1-A, USB 3.2 Gen2-C, Audio Combi, HDMI and power adapter each, everything necessary should be able to be connected. The AKOYA E11202 is delivered with Windows 10 Home in S mode. With dimensions of 30.5 x 2.4 x 20.1 cm (W x H x D), the MEDION notebook weighs 1.16 kg including battery and is therefore absolutely portable for students.
Home-office we are coming!
With the AKOYA E42022, MEDION has brought out a computer especially for the home office. The E42022 works with 8 GB DDR4 RAM with up to 3,200 MHz and has an Intel Core i3-10100 processor inside. With the 512 GB PCIe SSD, the PC also brings fast performance to the home office. The integrated Intel Wireless-AC 3165 with Bluetooth function ensures faster data rates and lower latencies. At the front, the desktop PC from MEDION has a multi-card reader, a microphone as well as a headphone port and two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports. At the rear there are two more USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a LAN port, an HDMI port and a display port. The AKOYA E42022 works with Windows 10 Home, in addition there is a pre-installed test version of Microsoft 365 for 30 days and also for 30 days McAfee LiveSafe. If you do not want to use Microsoft 365, a voucher for SoftMaker Office 2021 is included. Here you have access to the programs that you will need again and again, such as spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation creation. With a weight of 7 kg, the AKOYA E42022 measures 17 x 38 x 38.5 cm (W x H x D).

The MEDION AKOYA E11202 comes with battery, power supply unit, operating instructions and external power supply unit from 10 December 2020 at 199.00 Euro to ALDI Süd. The MEDION AKOYA E42002 is available on the same date at a price of 399.00 Euro. The desktop PC comes with a wired keyboard and mouse, the power cord, the warranty booklet, and voucher for SoftMaker Office Standard 2021.
