Medion Erazer Hunter X20: Gaming PC with RTX 3090 starts at ALDI for 3,700 euros

If you are looking for a new gaming PC with powerful components, you should mark August 26 in your calendar. Then, Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd offer the Medion Erazer Hunter X20, a strong computer including NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090, which should handle even the most demanding titles without problems.

Medion Erazer Hunter X20 at Aldi

Back in May of this year Aldi sold a model of the Medion Erazer Hunter X20 gaming PC with a GeForce RTX 3080, and the new edition with the even more powerful RTX 3090 will follow on August 26 at Aldi Nord and Süd. However, the discounter also upgrades the other components so that there is no bottleneck.

The CPU of the Medion Erazer Hunter X20 is based on an Intel Core i9-11900KF, which is supported by 32 GB of DDR4 working memory from Kingston HyperX in dual-channel mode with a 3200 MHz clock. The system is cooled with the help of a water cooler from Alphacool (Eisbaer 240).

Aldi’s configuration is also impressive in other respects. The motherboard is the powerful MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Edge Wifi, which has 2.5 Gbit/s LAN and Wi-Fi 6 on board. A 750 watt power supply from Seasonic provides the necessary energy. The storage is also very generous: a 2 TB NVMe SSD, which supports PCIe Express 4.0, is also supported by an HDD of the same size.

Windows 10 Home is pre-installed as the operating system and the case as well as the water cooling system have individually adjustable RGB lighting. Thus, it quickly becomes clear that Aldi is relying on strong and future-proof components for the Medion Erazer Hunter X20, with which even elaborate PC games should be playable without problems in a few years.

Price and availability

Aldi Nord and Süd will only offer the Medion Erazer Hunter X20 gaming PC online from August 26, and presumably only for a short time. Delivery to a store is free of charge thanks to the “ALDI Liefert” service, and the manufacturer’s RRP is 3,699 Euros.

Alternatively, the Medion Erazer Enforcer X10 is available in Medion’s online shop, which also uses an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 with an identical motherboard and Core i9-10900K. It also offers 32 GB of RAM and a 2 TB SSD, but a 4 TB HDD. The price is even higher than that of the Aldi model: Medion charges 4,499.95 Euros for the high-end laptop.
