Medion presents gaming PC Erazer Hunter X30 and notebook Erazer Major X10

Medion has confirmed its participation in gamescom 2022, which will take place in Cologne from August 24 to 28. At booth B0-40 in Hall 10.1, the manufacturer will showcase some of its Erazer products from the gaming sector and two exciting premieres in tow: the high-end gaming PC Medion Erazer Hunter X30 and the gaming notebook Medion Erazer Major X10.

The Medion Erazer Hunter X30 in detail

The new high-end gaming PC Medion Erazer Hunter X30 positions itself as a new top model above the manufacturer’s previous X20, which they relaunched in January 2022. Medion did not really reveal many details beforehand, but what is known sounds promising.

The Hunter X30 relies on the Alder Lake top model Intel Core i9-12900KF as processor, which combines 16 cores with 24 threads and clocks with a maximum of 5.2 GHz. In addition, there is 32 GB of fast DDR5 working memory with a clock rate of 4,800 MHz and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 as the graphics card.

The front panel has also been optimized and should now offer even more efficient cooling. However, not much more is known yet. However, the promo image at least reveals that the I/O panel offers two USB-A ports, a USB-C port, as well as two single 3.5 mm jack ports.

Medion Erazer Major X10

In addition to the desktop PC, the manufacturer is also bringing a new gaming notebook to gamescom 2022 in the form of the Medion Erazer Major X10. According to the manufacturer, this should be the highlight of the booth.

Thanks to its compact size, the Major X10 fits comfortably in a backpack and still relies on a convincing gaming performance. It is equipped with an Intel Core i7-12700H processor and up to 32 GB DDR5 RAM.

The Intel Arc A730M is used as the graphics card, the second most powerful model of the new Intel Arc Mobile graphics cards including 24 ray tracing units, a clock rate of 1,100 MHz and 12 GB GDDR6 VRAM.

The gaming notebook uses a 16-inch display with QHD+ resolution and a fast refresh rate of 165 Hz for image display. Thanks to the 16:10 aspect ratio, the Major X10 has an almost identical form factor to a 15-inch laptop, but offers an 11 percent larger display.

For temperature regulation, an XXL bottom grille allows plenty of cool air to be drawn in, and two fans efficiently transport warm air out via four outlets.

Prices, availability and gamescom 2022

Medion has not yet revealed prices for the two new devices. However, the Medion Erazer Hunter X30 gaming PC should be available from Medion’s online store in time for gamescom 2022, while the Medion Erazer Major X10 gaming notebook will be released in early September 2022. So it’s worth keeping an eye on the Medion Erazer website.

At the Medion booth B0-40 in Hall 10.1, there will also be other accessories such as monitors, gaming chairs and peripherals on display. In addition, special casemods by various artists will be on display there. Since Caseking will not be represented with a booth this year, this should mark the first place to start for those interested in casemodding.
