Medion’s gaming notebook Erazer Beast X25 and gaming desktop PC Erazer Engineer P10 are coming

Medion has introduced a new gaming notebook. A notebook with this configuration and at such a price is not yet available on the market. It is sold at Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd. Apart from the notebook, the new gaming desktop PC is also impressive.

Medion Erazer Beast X25

The Erazer Beast X25 is not yet available in the combination of processor, graphics card and RAM. For a gaming notebook with the equipment, the price of 2,699 euros is absolutely okay, because with the equipment it is actually already cheap again. Comparable models are already priced higher. The gaming notebook comes with an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX3080 laptop GPU, 64 GB of RAM and a 2 TB SSD. The IPS display of the Erazer Beast X25 comes in at 17.3 inches, 240 Hz and resolves in 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. A webcam has been installed in the display’s frame. With the infrared sensor, logging in via Windows Cello is then also supported.

In addition, there is an RGB keyboard with 16.7 million colors as well as stereo speakers with THX Spatial Audio. To keep everything running, the notebook has a 91.2 Wh battery. In terms of ports, the Erazer Beast X25 is also well equipped, with one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type A port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C port with HDMI/DisplayPort function, one HDMI 2.1, Gigabit LAN, a card reader for microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC, a power adapter port, a microphone-in port and an audio-out port.

The device uses either Intel AX200, which supports Wi-Fi 6, or Bluetooth 5.2. The whole thing is packaged in a 39.5 × 26.2 × 2.3 cm (2.6 cm with feet) matte black case. Thereby, it comes to a total weight of 2.3 kg.

Medion Erazer Engineer P10

The new desktop PC is also designed for gaming and has an Intel Core i7-11700F processor integrated, as well as an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (8 GB). The processor reaches a clock rate of up to 4.9 GHz with its eight cores. In addition, there are 16 GB of DDR4-2933 and 1 TB of SSD storage. The operating system is also Windows 10 Home. In terms of design, Medion has opted for its well-known In Win case in a glass design. Apart from that, the Erazer Engineer P10 offers Wi-Fi 6 (WLAN-ax) incl. Bluetooth function, Gigabit LAN and also connections for 6-channel HD audio. In addition, there are HDMI 2.1, three DisplayPort 1.4a ports and seven USB interfaces, whereby the majority of these rely on the USB 3.2 Gen1 standard and another port works with USB-C 3.2 Gen.

Availabilities and prices

Medion’s new products should be available at Aldi South and North from July 29, 2021. Thereby, the Medion Erazer Beast X25 is priced at 2,699 euros and the Erazer Engineer P10 at 1,299 euros. Both come with a three-year warranty from the manufacturer.
