Mini computer – Intel NUC 10 with Comet Lake processor in retail stores

The Intel NUC 10 mini-computer, which was announced at the end of 2019, is now available in stores for 679 US dollars. Buyers will receive an extremely compact computer with Intel Core i7-10710U (6 cores, 12 threads, 1.10 GHz base clock, 4.70 GHz turbo clock). The CPU from the Comet Lake generation was actually developed for notebooks. As usual for a barebone, the Intel NUC10i7FN(H) has to be equipped with RAM and an SSD. In the USA some dealers offer complete configurations with RAM and SSD via Amazon.

With Windows 10 Pro, 64GB of DDR4 memory and a 1TB NVMe SSD, the mini-computer is available for $1,295. In addition to the Core i7, the model variants NUC10i3FN(H) with Core i3 CPU and NUC10i5FN(H) with Core i5 CPU have also been announced, although these are not yet available on the market.

According to the experts at fanlesstech, the case of the completely passively cooled system comes from Akasa. At the moment a new cooling system is already being worked on, which also supports processors of the Frost Canyon series. However, Intel has not yet confirmed this.
