With the Minix NGC-7 Pro, the manufacturer offers a new mini-PC that has a lot going for it technically. Inside, there is an Intel Core i7-10510U with 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD.

The manufacturer’s new Minix NGC-7 Pro is an exciting, compact desktop PC that comes with a strong set of features. The small box features an Intel Core i7-10510U with four cores and eight threads in the top model, but is also offered with Core i5-8279U and -10210U as an alternative. The graphics are realized internally via Intel 4K Graphics.
It is supported by 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, which can be expanded up to 64 GB via SO-DIMM. Storage is on a 512 GB M.2 2280 SSD with NVMe, whereby the SSD can thus also be quickly and easily replaced and the storage thus expanded. An additional M.2 2242 slot allows using a 4G modem and a SATA SSD, for example, and a nano-SIM card slot is already pre-installed.
Communications and ports
The Minix NGC-7 Pro wirelessly transmits via WLAN and has two gigabit LAN ports. Via HDMI 2.0a, DisplayPort 1.2 and USB Type-C, up to three 4K monitors can be connected and used with the mini PC.
In addition, there are many other ports on the square, 153 mm x 153 mm small box. Among them are a 3.5 mm jack, a total of four USB 3.1 ports, RS232 and a microSD card reader. Kensington Lock, as well as two dual-band antennas are also offered.

Price and Availability of the NGC-7 Pro
The Minix NGC-7 Pro is currently only available from Amazon in the US. There, the top model is priced at US$799.90. With the help of a coupon, you can currently save an additional 60 US dollars. When and at what price the mini PC will be available in Germany is unclear. Other models from the manufacturer, such as the MINIX NEO G41V-4, are also available from Amazon.
