M&K Sound M90: New speaker offers more power for large rooms

M&K Sound has introduced the M90, a new flagship speaker that is intended to provide larger rooms in particular with rich sound. It relies on a compact and discreet on-wall design and is intended to fully convince especially in terms of sound.

M&K Sound has made it its mission to achieve uncompromising sound through unique mixing. Following in the footsteps of the compact M70 and M50 loudspeakers, the new M90 positions itself as a flagship above its smaller brethren. In addition to the large studio and home theater installations, there is also the manufacturer’s compact M Series, which allows the proven M&K sound in the living room. The discreetly kept form of the M Series case is equipped with two additional woofers, which simultaneously extend the previous frequency range of the M70 and provide better bass response.

In addition, the Danish speaker manufacturer installs a whole four fiberglass woofers that measure four inches and cover the lower bass frequencies even better compared to the smaller brothers M70 and M50. Between the woofers sits the one-inch coated silk dome neodymium tweeter, which makes home theater sound a special experience. M90 is therefore ideally suited for rooms where extra power is needed, and is also a good choice as a center speaker thanks to its well-designed dispersion characteristics.

In the design process, the drivers were installed in individual, reinforced cases to minimize distortion and resonance. Like all M Series speakers, the M90 is already prepared for easy wall mounting.

Decent on-wall design

Visually, the design language is based on the listening and viewing habits of most users who have no room for large floor-standing speakers. At the same time, the M Series’ on-wall design gives listeners flexibility and makes installation easier.

With the M40T Tripole, the M Series also features a multi-pole side and rear speaker in a compact format. The special design here ensures even sound dispersion throughout the room with the best sound quality. The low-profile cases of the models are all equipped with brackets and specially designed damping pads that ensure easy and best possible installation. In addition, all mounting accessories are already included.
