High-resolution display meets compact design

Motorola is on a roll. The impressive signature smartphone is now followed by a new tablet: the Moto Pad (2026) features an 11-inch display in 16:10 format with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. The refresh rate of 90 Hz ensures smooth animations and scrolling movements, while a brightness of up to 500 nits ensures good visibility even in daylight. Quad speakers create a spatial sound that reproduces videos, streaming content and music vividly and dynamically. The slim design with a thickness of only 6.99 millimeters and a weight of 480 grams makes the tablet handy and mobile, so that it fits comfortably in a backpack or bag.

The combination of display quality and speaker system positions the Moto Pad (2026) as a powerful multimedia tablet that can even hold its own against higher-priced models such as the Apple iPad, but at a significantly lower price.

Powerful hardware for everyday and multitasking tasks

Inside the Moto Pad (2026) is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, a 6 nm ARM processor from 2024. It offers two Cortex-A76 cores with up to 2.4 GHz for performance tasks and six Cortex-A55 cores for energy efficiency. The chip is supported by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory, which can be expanded via the integrated microSD slot. This allows flexible use of movies, apps, games and documents without having to buy additional memory immediately.

According to the manufacturer, a 7,040 mAh battery provides up to 12 hours of video streaming. The USB-C charger supports 20-watt fast charging, so that short charging times enable long use. With an integrated 5G modem, the tablet can also access fast mobile data on the go – ideal for streaming, video calls or mobile working.

Price and availability

The Motorola Moto Pad (2026) will be available in the USA from April 30 for 249.99 US dollars, equivalent to around 219 euros. The tablet is initially planned in the Pantone Bronze Green color variant. Information on a launch in Germany is still pending, but could follow soon.

With the Moto Pad (2026), Motorola shows that high-quality hardware and multimedia functions do not necessarily have to be expensive. The tablet combines a good display, powerful performance, expandable memory and mobile internet in a compact, handy format.
