MOVA 600 and MOVA 1000: Innovative robot mowers for precise lawn care

MOVA, a manufacturer of innovative smart home technology, has introduced the MOVA 600 and MOVA 1000 robotic lawn mowers. Both models are characterized by advanced functions that enable efficient and precise lawn care.

Key features:

  • UltraView™ technology: 3D LiDAR sensors for precise navigation and obstacle detection.
  • Wireless setup: No boundary wires or RTK base stations required.
  • Dual map management: Management of two independent maps for non-contiguous lawns.
  • Customizable mowing modes: Different mowing strategies and cutting heights for individual needs.

UltraView technology for precise navigation

The MOVA 600 and MOVA 1000 robotic lawnmowers use UltraView technology with 3D LiDAR sensors to detect their surroundings in real time. This enables centimeter-precise navigation, even in complex garden structures. Unlike conventional GPS-based systems, which are susceptible to signal interference from trees or buildings, these sensors offer consistent performance regardless of light conditions. This ensures reliable obstacle detection and avoidance.

Simple setup without boundary wire

An outstanding feature of MOVA robotic lawnmowers is their quick and easy set-up. Neither boundary wires nor the installation of an RTK base station are required. The MOVAhome app allows users to set virtual boundaries, define multiple lawn areas and determine no-go zones. This saves time and significantly reduces the installation effort.

Dual map management and multi-area management

The MOVA 600 and MOVA 1000 models offer the ability to create and manage two independent maps. This is particularly useful for properties with non-contiguous lawns, such as front and back gardens. The MOVAhome app can also be used to define different mowing areas with individual settings for mowing direction and efficiency. Seasonal mowing schedules can also be created to ensure optimal lawn care throughout the year.

Customizable mowing modes and cutting heights

The robotic lawnmowers have different mowing modes, including full mowing, zonal mowing, verge mowing and spot mowing. The U-shaped path planning with customizable mowing routes makes it possible to adapt the mowing result to the user’s aesthetic preferences and promotes healthier grass growth. The cutting height can be set between 20 and 60 millimetres via the intuitive control panel, allowing individual preferences to be taken into account.

Sustainability and animal welfare

MOVA robotic lawnmowers operate emission-free, making them an environmentally friendly choice for garden maintenance. The special “Animal Friendly” mode increases safety for pets and wild animals through a combination of high-precision LiDAR technology and special obstacle detection algorithms. At night, the “Nighttime Low-Speed Safety” mode reduces the mowing speed to give animals more time to react. The MOVAhome app can also be used to define areas in which mowing is not carried out due to high animal activity.

Technical data and availability

The MOVA 600 is designed for lawns up to 600 m² and costs €999. The MOVA 1000 is suitable for areas up to 1,000 m² and is available for €1,199. Both models are equipped with a cutting width of 20 cm and an adjustable cutting height of 2 to 6 cm. They can cope with slopes of up to 45% (24°) and operate at a noise level of less than 60 dB. The MOVA 1000 also has a quick-charging function and all-terrain wheels for better traction on different terrains.

Both models are available from the official MOVA website, Amazon and selected retailers such as BAUHAUS, HORNBACH, OBI and MediaMarkt. MOVA is offering a special promotion for the sales launch from March 3 to 9, 2025: Buyers will receive a robotic lawnmower garage worth €149 for free. MOVA is also offering a 3-year warranty on both models.

With the MOVA 600 and MOVA 1000 robot mowers, MOVA presents innovative solutions for modern lawn care that impress with their advanced technology, ease of use and environmentally friendly features.
