MOVA presented a new generation of autonomous pool robots at the International Pool Spa Patio Expo 2025 in Las Vegas. The highlight: the Rover X10 – an intelligent, hovering cleaning robot that moves underwater like a drone. With innovative 3D mapping technology, precise navigation and a powerful drive, MOVA is redefining pool maintenance.
- Autonomous pool robot with floating movement and 3D mapping
- FloatDrive and EdgeDrive systems for precise cleaning in all pool areas
- Battery power for up to 6 hours of operation with 500 m² area coverage
- AI-supported navigation with real-time mapping and app control
Rover X10: The underwater drone specialist
The Rover X10 is more than just a pool robot – it combines the agility of an underwater drone with the intelligence of a modern AI system. Thanks to FloatDrive technology with four jet motors, the robot can ascend, hover, descend and move horizontally through the water. This agility enables it to clean even hard-to-reach areas such as stairs, corners and lamp recesses without getting stuck.

The integrated laser distance system (LDS) maps the pool in 3D and uses the AquaScan system to ensure that every contour is captured without gaps. In combination with PoolNavi algorithms, the X10 plans its route dynamically and avoids redundant movements – for maximum efficiency with minimum energy consumption. This is supported by AquaSonar, a technology that converts Wi-Fi signals into ultrasonic waves to maintain a stable connection to the app even underwater. Users can therefore track the cleaning progress in real time.
With 15 motors, a 15,000 mAh battery and an enormous suction power of 10,000 GPH (gallons per hour), the Rover X10 covers pools of up to 500 square meters and cleans seven zones: Floor, walls, waterline, corners, stairs, surfaces and flat areas. The 5-liter filtration unit filters particles up to 3 μm – fine enough for sand and dust, strong enough for leaves and dirt. The combination of the EdgeDrive brush system and intelligently controlled traction ensures clean edges and precise transitions.
MOVA Diver A10 and R10: the right model for every pool
In addition to the Rover X10, MOVA presented two other models: the Diver A10 and the Diver R10. The A10 is aimed at demanding users with high cleaning requirements. With a suction power of 6,000 GPH, a 169 Wh battery and a runtime of 210 minutes, it combines power and endurance. The integrated sensor system precisely detects pool edges and cleans 5 cm above the waterline – a rarity in this class.

The Diver R10, on the other hand, marks the entry into the world of autonomous pool cleaning. With a running time of 120 minutes, 1,500 GPH suction power and two brushes, the small robot focuses on simple, reliable floor cleaning. Its compact design and one-button operation make it particularly user-friendly – ideal for smaller pools or beginners.

Conclusion
With the Rover X10 series and the Diver models A10 and R10, MOVA is expanding its smart home expertise into the pool care sector – and with impressive technological depth. The Rover X10 is representative of the company’s vision: maximum intelligence, efficiency and user-friendliness in one system. The market launch is planned for spring 2026 in North America, Europe and Australia, with prices to be announced shortly. MOVA is thus clearly establishing itself as a pioneer for the networked, automated pool maintenance of the future.
