MOVA Rover X10

MOVA officially unveiled its Rover X10 pool robot today – and it is now available to buy immediately. An introductory discount of 400 euros applies until April 27, 2026: instead of the regular RRP of 2,499 euros, the Rover X10 is available at a starting price of 2,099 euros. The device is MOVA’s first pool robot on the German market and, according to the manufacturer, combines seven cleaning functions in a single autonomous system.

7-in-1 OMNI technology: no area remains uncleaned

The MOVA Rover X10 is designed to cover all relevant pool areas without manual reworking. The so-called 7-in-1 OMNI technology includes:

  • Floor suction
  • wall cleaning
  • Waterline cleaning
  • surface cleaning
  • Step cleaning
  • Corner navigation
  • Coping with slopes

The Rover X10 is designed to provide seamless cleaning regardless of the pool shape or geometry – from the surface to the pool floor.

FloatDrive and EdgeDrive: the technical basis

A key technical feature is the FloatDrive technology: four jet drive motors with intelligent differential control enable the robot to move through the pool like an underwater drone – including ascending, descending and precise hovering. The suction capacity is 38,000 liters per hour.

The EdgeDrive brush system adapts flexibly to the contours of the pool and also reaches corners that are difficult to access. Combined with an independently driven front brush and an anti-reflux channel, no corner of the pool should be left untouched.

For navigation, the Rover X10 relies on 360° AquaScan mapping, which enables complete mapping of the pool. The PoolNav control system uses this to calculate optimum cleaning routes – even in complex underwater environments.

Up to 6 hours running time – for pools up to 500 m²

The Rover X10’s 15,000 mAh battery is said to last for up to six hours of continuous operation – enough to completely clean pools of up to 500 m² in a single pass. The dual-mode parking system makes it easy to remove the robot from the pool after cleaning: With increased vertical thrust, the X10 lifts itself to the water surface after the cleaning cycle. Charging is then wireless.

Classification: MOVA expands into the pool sector

The Rover X10 is MOVA’s first big step into pool care – and with an RRP of 2,499 euros, it is in the premium segment. By comparison, the Beatbot Sora range starts at a significantly lower price, but offers a different range of functions. We also introduced the Rover X10 back in fall 2025, when MOVA presented the device for the first time at the International Pool Spa Patio Expo. The entry-level model in the MOVA pool line, the MOVA Diver A10, has also been put through its paces in our full review.

We will clarify whether the Rover X10 delivers what MOVA promises in practice in a detailed test – as soon as a test device is available.
