MOZA Racing takes the sim racing experience to a new level with the introduction of the new NexGen 4.0 FFB force feedback software. At the same time, significant hardware improvements are introduced for the popular direct-drive models R9 V3, R12 V2, R16 V2 and R21 V2. MOZA is aimed at all sim racing enthusiasts who expect maximum precision, realistic feedback and advanced control. The innovations affect both existing and new users of the entire product range and set new standards in terms of performance and driving experience.
- NexGen 4.0 FFB is available for all MOZA wheelbases, from R3 to R21.
- Advanced algorithms improve feedback, especially through improved cogging compensation and interpolation.
- Pit House software receives new features such as AI-supported coaching and enhanced telemetry data.
- High-quality hardware updates for selected models with 21-bit encoder and carbon fiber technology.
NexGen 4.0 FFB: More precision and realism for everyone
The NexGen 4.0 force feedback software brings numerous technological improvements that make the driving experience much more authentic. Thanks to the new Cogging Compensation, disruptive resistance patterns are practically eliminated, resulting in a buttery smooth turning movement – from starting off to full rotation. The new force feedback interpolation is particularly noticeable when changing steering direction and recovering from drifts: transitions are more finely graduated and therefore appear more natural.
Intelligent Thermal Management also ensures consistently strong feedback even during long racing sessions or hot outside temperatures. Smaller wheelbases such as the R5 and R9 in particular benefit from this, as the thermal load capacity is actively optimized. The new Force Feedback Decoupling technology also allows damping, spring and inertia forces to be adjusted independently of each other – a function that enables more precise adjustments to individual driving styles and different simulations.

Pit House Software: Even smarter, even more flexible
Alongside the new force feedback software, MOZA Racing has also comprehensively developed its Pit House software. Compatibility has been extended to 32 racing games, with Assetto Corsa Competizione and F1 24, among others, now better supported. Over 220 telemetry data points can be evaluated in real time and offer a detailed analysis of driving performance.
One particular highlight is the integration of an AI coach, developed in collaboration with Track Titan. This system analyzes driving data such as throttle response, braking behavior and ideal lines and provides targeted tips for improvement. Whether in tight bends or when chasing the last tenths – the virtual coach helps to make tangible progress. In addition, thanks to a new mobile tuning function, drivers can now even adjust their settings during the race directly via the MOZA app – quickly, intuitively and without interrupting the session.
Hardware upgrades: precision at the highest level
While the software improvements affect all MOZA users, the new versions of the R9, R12, R16 and R21 models in particular benefit from extensive hardware upgrades. A 21-bit magnetic encoder ensures extreme resolution here – with over two million measuring points per revolution, every fine detail of the road surface can be felt.
Added to this is the proven 3-step skewed rotor technology, originally adopted from high-end electric motor construction. The skewed rotor parts reduce torque ripples and significantly improve running smoothness. MOZA also relies on rotor-coated carbon fibre sleeves, which minimize electromagnetic interference, increase thermal stability and guarantee consistently high performance even during long-distance use. This combination ensures an unrivaled blend of precision, robustness and realism.
Conclusion: A powerful upgrade for the sim racing community
With NexGen 4.0 FFB and the new hardware optimizations, MOZA Racing offers an impressive update that will delight ambitious amateur drivers and professionals alike. The software is available free of charge for all MOZA wheelbases and the improved models R9 V3, R12 V2, R16 V2 and R21 V2 are already available.
