When it comes to gaming hardware, MSI is at the forefront. To keep it that way, the manufacturer has launched a new series. The new series has two different models in the petto.
On the one hand the MSI MPG SEKIRA 100R…
with the tinted glass front panel the ARGB lighting comes out neatly. On the side of the case there is a window made of 4 mm tempered glass to allow a view of the interior. The glass window is attached without screws, so it can be easily opened and closed by the closing mechanism. The top of the MPG case has an additional airflow system, with a magnetic dust filter for easy cleaning. This provides an improved airflow to protect the components from overheating. For even better cooling, the four fans supplied ex works are included. To achieve an almost perfect air flow, up to six case fans can be installed in total.
The already installed fans not only provide good cooling performance for the components from the very beginning, but also make the case a real eye-catcher. On the I/O-Shield, the color and light effects of the individual fans can then be quickly and easily controlled at the touch of a button with Insta-Light Loop. The new MPG Sekira 100 model has more connection options than its predecessor. It has a USB Gen2 Type-C port with 10 Gbit/s, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, an audio port and a microphone port. The components also have sufficient space in the Midi Tower. The CPU cooler can be up to 170 mm long and the GPU up to 340 mm. In the cases of the Serika-100 series there are also three filters built in to prevent dust from entering the system. The external dimensions are 215 mm x 475 mm x 420 mm (W x H x D). We have also already tested the MPG Sekira 100R.
On the other hand the MSI MPG SEKIRA 100P
The gaming case has a certain elegance, unlike the 100R. Its aluminum front panel doesn’t allow you to see anything, but it does make it very elegant. Otherwise, both models are identical in construction.
Availability and price
Both gaming cases from MSI are available immediately. The MSI MPG SEKIRA 100R is available at a price of 124.90 euros and the MPG SEKIRA 100P at a price of 112.90 euros.
