MSI adds a new model to its Modern series of business monitors. After the AM272 series all-in-one PCs, which were introduced in July, the MSI Modern MD272QPWDE is now the suitable monitor if a computer is already available.
MSI Modern MD272QPWDE unveiled
MSI’s Modern MD272 series monitor has won the 2022 Best Choice Award. The Modern MD272 series monitors feature Less Blue Light PRO and anti-flicker technology. Both technologies prevent eye fatigue during extended screen time.
The monitors are also equipped with all sorts of useful features to boost user productivity, including, for example, a KVM switch and the exclusive MSI Productivity Intelligence (P.I.) app.
In the case of the MSI Modern MD272QPWDE, the manufacturer relies on a 27-inch IPS panel complete with LED backlighting, which resolves at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and gets 300 cd/m² brightness. The refresh rate of the business and office monitor is 75 hertz, the gray-to-grey response time is supposed to be 4 ms. The static contrast ratio is specified at 1,000:1.
In terms of ergonomics, the MSI Modern MD272QPWDE can be rotated (30 degrees to the left or right), tilted (-5 degrees to 20 degrees) and adjusted 110 mm in height. A pivot function is also offered.
Smart features and connections
In terms of connections, an HDMI port (1.4b), a DisplayPort (1.2), a headphone output, two USB-A 2.0, one USB-B 2.0 and one USB Type-C are available, and two speakers with an output power of 4 watts each are also installed.
The MSI Modern MSI Productivity Intelligence App (P.I.) is also said to help increase productivity thanks to smart tools and efficient features. “Connect your PC to the Modern MD272 using the USB Type-B-to-A port. Then connect your PC to the HDMI or DP port to get the most out of the Productivity Intelligence app,” the manufacturer says.
Price and Availability
It is currently unclear when the MSI Modern MD272QPWDE business monitor will be available in stores. Online retailer Alternate lists the display at a price of 359.00 Euros, but doesn’t mention a date yet.
