At COMPUTEX 2026, MSI and NVIDIA presented a new class of devices. With the MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+, MSI is presenting the company’s first laptop based entirely on the new NVIDIA RTX Spark platform. This makes MSI the next manufacturer after ASUS. The device combines AI acceleration, RTX graphics technologies and high energy efficiency in a slim 2-in-1 format. The notebook is therefore aimed at creative professionals, developers and users who want to combine powerful AI functions with high mobility.
- First MSI laptop based on NVIDIA RTX Spark
- 2-in-1 design with 360-degree hinge and MSI Nano Pen
- Optional 16-inch UHD+ tandem OLED display with over 1,000 nits brightness
- Designed for AI applications, content creation, productivity and gaming
NVIDIA RTX Spark as the foundation for a new laptop class
With the Prestige N16 Flip AI+, MSI is one of the first manufacturers to rely on the new NVIDIA RTX Spark platform. The superchip developed by NVIDIA was specifically designed for modern AI applications, creative workflows and gaming and is intended to offer high energy efficiency. The aim is to enable high-performance Windows laptops in particularly slim designs without having to compromise on battery life.
The new Prestige laptop integrates NVIDIA’s complete RTX technology package, including AI acceleration and an integrated NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU. This makes the device suitable not only for classic office tasks, but also for local AI applications, the execution of large language models (LLMs), generative AI workloads and demanding creative software.
The platform should also show its strengths in gaming. Thanks to RTX technologies and modern graphics architecture, MSI promises a powerful entertainment experience in a compact thin-and-light format. The combination of high computing power and mobility, which was previously often only available in significantly larger gaming notebooks, is particularly interesting.
MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+ focuses on flexibility and a modern display
In addition to the new hardware platform, MSI places great emphasis on the versatility of the device. The 360-degree flip design allows it to be used as a classic notebook, tablet, presentation device or in tent mode. This allows the system to be flexibly adapted to different work and usage scenarios.
The new MSI Action Touchpad and the MSI Nano Pen integrated in the housing provide additional ease of use. The stylus is stored and charged directly in the notebook, making it available at all times for notes, sketches or creative projects.
The optional display version is a particular highlight. MSI relies on a 16-inch UHD+ tandem OLED panel that uses two OLED layers on top of each other. This technology enables a peak brightness of more than 1,000 nits while also reducing energy consumption and increasing the panel’s lifespan.
According to MSI, the display also fully covers the DCI-P3 color space, is Calman-certified ex works and achieves a color deviation of Delta E of less than 1. The device is therefore particularly aimed at professional users in the fields of image editing, graphic design and content creation who require a high level of color accuracy. The overall package is supported by a large 99.9 Wh battery, which is intended to further emphasize the mobility of the system.
Conclusion
With the Prestige N16 Flip AI+, MSI is presenting one of the first laptops based on NVIDIA RTX Spark at COMPUTEX 2026. The combination of AI functions, RTX graphics, flexible 2-in-1 design and modern tandem OLED display makes the device an interesting solution for creative users, developers and mobile power users. MSI had not yet published details on the price and market launch at the time of the presentation.
