MSI VERSA 300 ELITE WIRELESS: New gaming mice

With the MSI VERSA 300 ELITE WIRELESS, the hardware expert of the same name has introduced a new gaming mouse. On paper, the wireless mouse scores points with its state-of-the-art technology, high precision and long battery life.

Highlights of the MSI VERSA 300 ELITE WIRELESS:

  • PixArt PAW3395DM sensor with up to 26,000 DPI for maximum precision
  • Battery life of up to 80 hours at a sampling rate of 1,000 Hz
  • Lightweight design with only 65 grams and ergonomic shape
  • Omron switch with a service life of 60 million clicks

Technical equipment and features

The VERSA 300 ELITE WIRELESS relies on the ultra-modern PixArt PAW3395DM sensor, which offers an extremely high resolution of up to 26,000 DPI. This makes the mouse ideal for fast and precise movements, which is particularly advantageous in competitive games. Five preset DPI levels (400, 800, 1600, 3200 and 6400) make it easy to adapt to different gaming and work requirements.

For users who prefer fine-tuning, the MSI Center software is available. With an impressive battery life of up to 80 hours at a sampling rate of 1,000 Hz, the mouse is perfect for long gaming sessions. Thanks to the Omron switches, which are designed for up to 60 million clicks, it is also optimized for longevity.

Another highlight is the low weight of just 65 grams. In combination with the PTFE gliding feet, this promises a smooth and comfortable glide. The ergonomic shape of the mouse guarantees a high level of comfort even during long gaming or work sessions. A special feature of the Elite version is the RGB lighting, which can be customized via the MSI Center software to visually complement the setup.

Possible applications and target group

The VERSA 300 ELITE WIRELESS is primarily aimed at gamers who value precision and performance. It promises a great deal of flexibility in use. You can choose between wireless connections via MSI SWIFTSPEED 2.4G and Bluetooth or a wired connection via USB.

With the VERSA 300 WIRELESS, MSI has also introduced a slightly slimmed-down version. This comes with a PixArt PAW3104DB, which offers 8000 DPI. The battery life of up to 50 hours is significantly less than that of the Elite model, but the basic version only weighs 60 g.

Price and availability

With the MSI VERSA 300 ELITE WIRELESS (price comparison at Geizhals) and MSI VERSA 300 WIRELESS (price comparison at Geizhals), MSI presents two sophisticated gaming mice. The high precision, long battery life and flexibility make them an excellent choice for gamers in theory.
