MWC 2025: eufy E15 and Eufy E18 robot mowers with innovative AI navigation launch

With the new eufy E15 and eufy E18 robotic lawn mowers, Anker Innovations is bringing its proven smart home technology to the garden. The two models rely on state-of-the-art camera technology for easy setup, precise navigation and even lawn cutting – without the need for boundary wires or external GPS transmitters.

  • eufy E15: Suitable for lawns up to 800 m², with intelligent AI vision navigation
  • eufy E18: Covers areas up to 1,200 m² and offers optimized navigation
  • TrueVision camera system: Three integrated cameras for quick set-up and obstacle detection
  • Smart app control: Individual mowing plans, no-go zones and mowing direction can be set via app
  • IPX6 certification: Protection against water and weather for reliable use in all weathers

Revolutionary technology for effortless set-up

Until now, setting up a robotic lawn mower often involved a lot of effort: Boundary wires had to be laid, GPS transmitters had to be set up and obstacles had to be defined manually. With the new eufy E15 and E18, this effort is a thing of the past.

Thanks to the innovative TrueVision camera system with three lenses – a semantic AI camera and two 3D stereo cameras – the robotic lawnmowers recognize their surroundings in real time. They map the lawn automatically and start mowing within just five minutes. For data protection reasons, however, it is not possible to access the cameras. This provides additional security: the recordings are used exclusively for mapping.

Both robotic lawnmowers are plug and play: unpack, assemble and get started. The charging station is designed to be compact and weatherproof. It comes with an integrated roof that protects the robots from UV rays and rain. The IPX6-certified devices are also waterproof and can be easily cleaned with a garden hose.

Intelligent navigation and perfect edging

A common problem with conventional robotic lawn mowers is the uneven cut along the edges of the lawn. Many models leave a narrow strip of unmown lawn, which then has to be reworked manually.

The eufy E15 and E18 solve this problem with their advanced AI vision technology. They precisely recognize the boundaries of the lawn and drive directly over the edge to ensure an even cut.

The obstacle detection works in real time and prevents collisions with trees, garden furniture, toys or pets. Instead of using boundary wires or external GPS transmitters for orientation, the camera system uses intelligent image processing for precise navigation.

If an obstacle blocks the path during the mowing process, the system remembers the unmown area and automatically returns as soon as the path is clear again. Intelligent parallel mowing ensures efficient use of the area and a visually appealing result.

The devices offer a cutting width of 20.3 cm and a freely adjustable cutting height of between 2.5 and 7.5 cm. Thanks to powerful motors, they can easily cope with slopes of up to 40 % (18°). The running time varies depending on the condition of the lawn and is between 90 and 110 minutes. Afterwards, the robots return to the charging station on their own and are fully recharged after just two hours.

Smart control with the eufy app

The robotic lawn mowers can be fully controlled and individually configured via the eufy app for iOS and Android. The ability to manage multiple lawns is particularly practical – ideal for large gardens with separate areas or plots with winding lawns.

The following functions are available in the app:

  • Individual mowing schedules: Define when and how often the lawn is cut
  • No-go zones: Define areas that should not be mowed, e.g. flower beds or play areas
  • Adjust mowing direction: If a specific pattern is desired, the direction can be changed
  • Real-time monitoring: The current mowing status can be called up at any time via the app

Seamless integration into the eufy ecosystem means the robots can be connected to other smart home devices and even operated by voice control via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
