Customers of the direct bank N26 can look forward to a new feature in their account. Thanks to real-time transfers, payments reach the recipient’s account within around 20 seconds.
SEPA real-time transfers at N26
The current accounts of the direct bank N26 enjoy enormous popularity, especially among young people. Until now, it was only possible to receive payments in real time from other accounts. From now on, however, real-time transfers are also possible from one’s own account, even if the recipient does not have an account with N26.
This makes it possible to make payments around the clock, 365 days a year. This service is included free of charge in the paid accounts N26 Smart, You and Metal, while the free N26 Standard account charges a fee of EUR 0.49 per outgoing transfer. Previously, this was only possible via “MoneyBeam” for customers within N26 Bank, but now real-time transfers apply to all SEPA accounts.
