N26 wants to offer cryptocurrencies soon too

After N26 did not have any too positive news to announce for its customers recently, it is now making another push towards the throne of online banks. The fintech company now wants to enter the crypto business and expand its service pool with corresponding services.

N26 wants to meet customer needs

Until now, it was not possible at N26 to perceive services in the field of cryptocurrencies. This is now to change. For this step, the Berlin-based company decides not without reason. To the colleagues of t3n, the fintech bank commented as follows:

“Crypto trading is one of the areas in which we are seeing lively interest among customers. Therefore, we are working to bring a corresponding product for our customers together with a partner company on the market.”

In the process, business around the new currencies are also according to N26 itself.

“to the same extent as the N26 banking product uncomplicated, transparent and secure.”

Start still unknown

Now we know at least once that N26 wants to enter the booming business around cryptocurrencies. When one will be able to comfortably send Bitcoins, Ethereum & Co. back and forth with the help of the online bank, however, is still in the stars. However, new news on this is expected soon. N26 will have primarily decided to take this step in order to keep up with the competition. Vivid Money is also a hot contender for the throne of online banks. This competitor already offers extensive crypto-related services. Another incentive is likely to be the increasingly likely IPO of the Berlin-based online bank. N26 still lacks this to finally stand as a big player on the entire banking market.

Finally good news

Since N26 has not yet named a fixed release date, it is also entirely possible that the fintech company simply wanted to write positive headlines again. After all, this maneuver can be used to skillfully distract attention from the unsightly allegations surrounding money laundering that have come to light in recent days. The investigations by the public prosecutor’s office are in full swing.
