Dutch company Naya presents the Naya Connect, a particularly flexible keyboard solution with a magnetic modular system. Users can position and adjust the individual components such as trackball, numpad or macro keys as desired. The aim is to create an ergonomic and individually configurable workstation that is suitable for gaming, creative applications as well as classic office work. The modular design enables a combination of comfort, functionality and a personalized setup.

  • Mechanical low-profile switches with hot-swap function
  • Customizable key layouts and optional accessories

Naya Connect: Flexible modular system for individual configurations

The Naya Connect is based on a modular concept in which the individual components can be magnetically connected to each other. This makes it possible to place the numeric keypad or a macro key module to the left or right of the main keyboard. There is also a magnetic base into which users can insert various input devices: Trackball, trackpad or a rotary knob for 3D software and media software. The magnetic connection ensures that the modules are firmly attached, but can also be easily removed or repositioned at any time. This flexibility not only offers ergonomic benefits, but also supports productive workflows that require different input devices.

The modular design allows at least ten modules to be connected together, with no known upper limit. For users who like to experiment, the keyboard offers almost unlimited potential for customizing the workplace to suit their own needs.

Mechanical low-profile switches and hot-swap function

The main keyboard of the Naya Connect corresponds to the 75 percent format and uses mechanical low-profile switches of the Kailh Choc V2 type with Cherry cross base. All keys can be hot-swapped, allowing users to choose between tactile, linear or clicky switches. Customers can even use a survey to determine which switches they prefer. This flexibility ensures a customized typing experience and increases both comfort and performance for gaming or office applications.

The modular design in combination with the interchangeable switches makes it possible to completely customize the keyboard to your own preferences. From ergonomic adjustments and creative layouts to special inputs for software applications – the Naya Connect focuses on customizability without compromise.

Prices, accessories and availability

The Naya Connect is currently in the Kickstarter funding phase. Individual keyboards cost 150 euros, while bundles with accessories such as a number pad, mouse module and trackpad cost 230 euros. If you opt for the trackball instead of the trackpad, the set costs 240 euros. All accessories, such as the six-button macroblock (30 euros), the numpad (43 euros) and the trackball (60 euros), are also offered separately. Delivery is planned for February 2027, although the project involves a certain amount of risk as it is Naya’s second Kickstarter project.

With the Naya Connect, the company combines ergonomic flexibility, modular customizability and high-quality mechanical switches in an innovative concept that appeals to both creative users and tech-savvy users.
