New Acer Aspire AI notebooks: Six smart models for everyday life, study and work

Acer brings a breath of fresh air to the mid-range and introduces six new Aspire AI notebooks, which are equipped with the latest Copilot+ functions, energy-saving platforms and modern displays. Whether in the lecture hall, home office or on the move – the new Aspire models combine technology suitable for everyday use with smart software and energy-efficient performance. And the price remains surprisingly fair.

  • Six new Aspire AI models with Intel, AMD or Snapdragon X platform
  • Up to 32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD, Wi-Fi 7, HDMI 2.1 and USB-C
  • Battery life of up to 26.5 hours depending on model and features
  • IPS and OLED displays with up to 120 Hz and 100% DCI-P3

Versatile performance for study, work and leisure

The Aspire AI series is aimed at users who value ease of use, long-lasting batteries and modern features – without having to compromise on performance. All six models are available in two sizes with 14 or 16 inch screen diagonals and offer maximum flexibility in use thanks to the 180-degree hinge. A robust aluminum housing ensures stability in everyday mobile use.

The wide range of platforms is particularly noteworthy: With Intel Core Ultra processors (A14-53M, A16-52M) come models that combine powerful multitasking capabilities with Intel Arc graphics and an optional OLED display. Those looking for energy efficiency will find a sophisticated solution for local AI applications in the AMD Ryzen AI 300 models (A14-61M, A16-61M). The Snapdragon X variants (A14-11M, A16-11M), which are based on ARM architecture and are particularly quiet, compact and energy-efficient, go one step further.

Regardless of the processor, all devices offer up to 32 GB LPDDR5X memory and up to 1 TB SSD storage. Modern interfaces such as HDMI 2.1, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and even MicroSD slots make them universally applicable work tools.

A clear view: displays with high standards

Depending on the model, Acer offers either a high-resolution IPS panel or a brilliant OLED display. Both variants rely on the 16:10 format, which offers more vertical working space – particularly practical for text editing, coding or spreadsheets. The display edges are deliberately kept narrow in order to achieve the largest possible screen area despite the compact design.

The technical specifications of the displays leave little to be desired: A refresh rate of up to 120 Hz ensures smooth movements, for example when scrolling or watching videos. 500 nits of brightness ensure good readability even in daylight, and 100% DCI-P3 color space coverage offers accurate color reproduction – relevant for creative applications such as photo editing or content creation in the semi-professional sector.

Touch options make working even more intuitive, especially for presentations or quick note-taking. Overall, Acer is also uncompromisingly modern with the displays in the Aspire series.

Focus on safety and sustainability

Another highlight of the Aspire AI notebooks are the integrated security features. All models support the Microsoft Pluton security architecture, offer facial recognition via Windows Hello and have a physical camera shutter – an important detail in times of hybrid work. Added to this is the sustainable packaging, which is made from recyclable materials and underlines Acer’s commitment to more environmentally friendly IT products.

Acer also provides convenience on the software side: the Copilot+ integration enables assistive functions such as automatic context analysis, text suggestions or user profile adjustments. In addition, Acer-specific AI functions such as task forecasts and energy optimization ensure an all-round efficient everyday life.

Conclusion

With the new Aspire AI series, Acer is positioning itself strongly in the price-conscious AI notebook segment. The six new models cover different requirements – from mobile lightness to powerful all-round graphics performance. The Snapdragon versions will start as early as June 2025 from CHF 654, while the Intel and AMD models will be available from July and August 2025 respectively. Prices start at CHF 700 and range up to CHF 980 – an attractive overall package for smart everyday use with future-proof technology. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not yet announced euro prices.
