New generation of SCHENKER KEY and MEDIA

Schenker Technologies is on the move, first upgrading its XMG-CORE laptops with the new AMD Ryzen or even Intel processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card. Now the company introduces the next generation of its SCHENKER KEY and SCHENKER MEDIA, the E21 model generation impresses with a compact and slim design.

SCHENKER KEY E21

Depending on the screen size, the SCHENKER KEY comes in at just 1.99 kg or 2.3 kg. The build heights are 19.8 and 19.9 mm, while the display measures 357.5 x 238.0 mm for the 15.6-inch laptop and 395.5 x 264.95 mm for the 17.3-inch model. An Intel Core i7-10870H from the Comet Lake generation with eight cores works inside. The working memory is expandable with up to 64 GB DDR4. You can choose between the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 and the GeForce RTX 3080, which have 8 and 16 GB of video memory, respectively. The GPU works with a TGP of 90 W and with an additional 15 W in dynamic boot.

For the displays, there are different versions with a factory pre-calibration and are particularly color-fast thanks to the X-Rite certification. The base display is a viewing angle stable IPS panel with 144 Hz and has a native Full HD resolution. There is another option for the 15.6-inch version with the OLED screen of a UHD resolution and 100% sRGB and DCI-P3 color space coverage. In contrast, there is a 4K IPS panel for the 17.3-inch KEY. In addition, the new SCHENKER have RGB single key illumination and the touchpad of the laptops is Microsoft Precision compliant.

Schenker Technologies provides two SO-DIMM slots and two RAID-capable M.2 slots for versatile storage options. The basic equipment also includes WiFi 6, an integrated microSD card reader, three USB-A ports, Gigabit LAN, DisplayPort, Thunderbolt 3, HDMI 2.1 and one port each for microphone and headset.

SCHENKER MEDIA E21 with Intel or AMD CPU

The SCHENKER MEDIA is a bit heavier than the KEY and comes in at a weight of 2.5 kg, with a build height of 30 mm, but has more room to maneuver in terms of hardware. The MEDIA offers the possibility to choose between an AMD or an Intel processor. In addition, there is a higher TGP limit for the dedicated GeForce graphics. If the choice is Intel, SCHENKER has installed a Core i7-10870H. Opposite of that is the AMD Ryzen 7 4800H, at least until the new AMD Ryzen 7 5800H is available. For the GPU, SCHENKER relies on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 with 6 GB GDDR6 video memory and TGP expansion of 115 W plus another 15 W in Dynamic Boost. In the base version, the processors are supported by a 144 Hz FHD panel. The 15-inch version can also be ordered with a 240 Hz panel. The other key data is similar to the SCHENKER KEY.

Availability and prices

The new SCHENKER models are available for pre-order now and are scheduled to ship in March. The KEY 15 is available from 1,999 euros and the KEY 17 from a price of 2,029 euros. In contrast, the Intel variant of the SCHENKER MEDIA is already available from 1,529 Euros. The AMD version of the MEDIA will only be available at a later date at prices starting at 1,479 Euros.
