Gigabyte’s new case has a new shape, and the manufacturer wants to make it clear who it comes from. The case is tilted and Gigabyte wants to remind us of the falcon, the brand’s logo.
“Fearless” in design – ordinary inside?!
According to Gigabyte, the new shape of the Aorus C700 Glass in the design of a falcon is supposed to transport the “fearlessness” of the midi case. Inside, it looks more like other cases. The C700 supports ATX mainboards.
Three fans can find their place at the front, three 120 mm fans are already included, but can be replaced by 140 mm fans. Two more 120 mm fans are located in the rear of the midi case and are also included. Optionally, three 120 or 140 mm fans can also be placed under the lid. The size of the C700 is of course also an advantage, so the ample space behind the front can hold a 360mm radiator and there is also enough room for a 420mm model under the top.
In addition, two slot wide graphics cards can be mounted vertically, the GPU may have 490 mm. The CPU cooler also has enough room in Gigabyte’s 144-liter case with 198 mm. So that you don’t run out of storage space, either six 2.5-inch or four 3.5-inch bays can be used for the storage. The slots are distributed over two cages in the Aorus C700. Four of the 2.5 inch trays are at the bottom of the case.
What can’t be missing in a decent case these days is RGB lighting. This is also already integrated with numerous light elements. The I/O panel is also well equipped and has a fan control on board. The exterior of the Gigabyte Aorus C700 Glass remains special. However, the inner values and placement options are not to be ignored. .

The Aorus C700 comes with a 144-liter capacity, measuring 67.1 x 30.1 x 71.4 (L x W x H) and weighing 19.2 kg. In addition, it has a USB 3.1 (USB 3.2 Gen 2) Type C port, four USB 3.0 (USB 3.2 Gen 1) ports, an HD audio port and an HDMI port, which can be used to connect a VR headset, for example. Aluminum, glass, plastic and steel were used for the materials.
Availability and prices
The exact price of the Gigabyte Aorus C700 Glass is not yet known, just like the availability. However, a price of around 250 euros can be expected.
