SteelSeries has introduced the Rival 3, a wireless gaming mouse that offers over 400 hours of battery life, double wireless versatility and a new energy-saving gaming sensor.

The SteelSeries Rival 3 Wireless is the first gaming mouse to incorporate the new TrueMove Air optical gaming sensor. According to the manufacturer, it is the most power-saving sensor ever made by SteelSeries.
The technology has an industry-leading battery life of more than 400 hours. This means gamers don’t have to worry about the mouse suddenly failing due to a dead battery during a gaming session and requiring a battery change.
The gaming mouse has impressive power efficiency thanks to the new Quantum 2.0 wireless technology. The SteelSeries Rival 3 Wireless connects to the PC via a USB wireless connection at 2.4 GHz. The polling rate is 1000 Hertz and with a reaction time of one millisecond, every game succeeds with ease. Bluetooth 5.0 is also supported.
Channel optimization and optical TrueMove air sensor
The new automatic channel optimization is another advantage of Quantum 2.0 wireless technology, which provides a stable wireless connection. In this way, both mouse and receiver can transmit data at high and low frequencies. In the event of interference from other devices, the mouse automatically switches to the second channel so that the gamer can control his game without interruption.
The TrueMove Air is an optical sensor that operates at 18,000 CPI, 400 IPS and 40 G. Created in collaboration with PixArt, it provides seamless tilt tracking when lifting and repositioning the mouse during a fast-paced, exciting game. The case of the SteelSeries Rival 3 Wireless is made of an extremely durable polymer, resulting in a long life. The mechanical click switches are designed for 60 million clicks.
The mouse can be operated with either one or two AA batteries. The integrated memory can store up to five CPI profiles, which are fully customizable using the SteelSeries engine.
