New tool: Corsair iCUE Murals Lighting provides perfect light

Nowadays, passionate gamers attach much more importance to their gaming setup than it was the case a few years ago. Thus, not only the pure hardware power plays a big role anymore. The looks are also becoming more and more important. Besides stylish peripherals and a chic case, lighting is also essential. Corsair has a brand-new software highlight on offer for this very purpose. With the Corsair iCUE Murals Lighting, you can customize compatible RGB light sources to your liking via software.

With Corsair iCUE Murals Lighting always the right light

In the last few days, Corsair surprised us with some news. For example, the consumer electronics expert presented its latest wireless headset HS65 Wireless. We were even allowed to test the somewhat cheaper little brother in the form of the Corsair HS55 Wireless and attest it a terrific price-performance ratio.

Now comes another novelty from the manufacturer, but in the form of a new tool to use in your gaming setup. This is Corsair iCUE Murals Lighting. This is supposed to allow you to adjust the lighting effects of your RGB elements according to your wishes. Simply upload an image or video file of your choice to the tool and you’ll get the atmospherically matching light output. Corsair promises that Murals Lighting can process almost any file format. It doesn’t matter if it’s a static image or moving images.

Gamers should especially like the adaptation to moving images. After all, you can couple the tool with your video game. The result should be atmospheric lighting scenes that adapt to the screen content in real time. According to Corsair, the declared goal is to visually enlarge the gaming setup with the help of uniform lighting and thus provide more game depth.

Compatibility with Philips Hue and Nanoleaf

A big advantage of Corsair iCUE Murals Lighting is certainly also the fact that it can be used with more than just the manufacturer’s in-house hardware. Products from well-known manufacturers like Philips Hue or Nanoleaf are also supported. This means that your setup can create a uniform lighting mood even if the individual elements come from different manufacturers.
