Nokia C22 and C32 launch as entry-level smartphones

HMD Global, whose Nokia brand has been operating under a new logo since the end of February 2023, announces the market launch of two new entry-level smartphones. The Nokia C22 and Nokia C32 rely on a robust design, should score with a particularly long battery life and convince with the camera quality.

Nokia C22 and C32 presented

The new Nokia C22 and Nokia C32 are supposed to bring the best from the world of Nokia smartphones to the entry-level segment, at least manufacturer HMD Global promises. The C22 is supposed to be particularly robust and achieve a battery life of up to three days.

It has a 6.52-inch HD+ display with 60 Hz and is powered by an unspecified quad-core processor, which is the Unisoc SC9863A1 according to the spec sheet. It only weighs 188 grams and has dimensions of 164.6 x 75.89 x 8.55 mm. Thanks to its solid feel, it should also be able to withstand a lot in outdoor use.

The polycarbonate body in Midnight Black and Sand colors and the tempered display glass protect against drops, dust and splashing water. In addition, there is a 13-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. The internal memory is 64 MB, but can be expanded via micoSD card – albeit only by up to 256 GB.

Nokia C32 with long-lasting battery and 50 MP camera

We already know the C32 from the Mobile World Congress 2023, and now it is also coming to Germany. It also offers a battery life of up to three days. The back made of safety glass in the color Charcoal and the frame with metallic finish give the smartphone an elegant look.

Thanks to the 50 MP sensor on the back, which captures more light, and a night mode for both the front camera and the camera on the back, the Nokia C32 wants to score with a convincing picture quality.

It relies on the Unisoc SC9863A1 along with 3 GB of working memory and already ships with Android 13. This model measures 164.6 x 75.89 x 8.55 mm and weighs 198 grams. A 6.52-inch HD+ display with a 60 Hz refresh rate is also offered here.

Both the Nokia C22 and Nokia C32 smartphones are available now in the DACH region. The recommended retail price for the Nokia C22 is 129 euros, the C32 149 euros.
