Nova H1: Manufacturer from Munich presents noble audio earrings

Manufacturer Nova Audio, based in Munich, Germany, has introduced the innovative Nova H1 chic and high-quality audio earrings. This is a 2-in-1 product that combines Bluetooth headphones with four microphones and high-quality earrings.

The Nova H1 in detail

The manufacturer had already presented the chic in-ear headphones, which also serve as a pearl earring, last year. Now they can finally be ordered. Here, the H1 combine a clip-on or plug earring with an eye-catching pearl, which has a diameter of just under 12.6 mm, with a Bluetooth headphone.

The model is offered in either gold or silver and also has an integrated in-ear headphone that transmits in the modern Bluetooth 5.2 standard and, thanks to Directional Sound technology, can transport the sound into the ear without the model having to sit in the ear to do so – so technically speaking, not in-ear headphones after all.

According to the manufacturer, several acoustic channels are used in the bead, which, in combination with the funnel geometry, transport the sound of the Nova H1 into the ear. It is also promised that the sound is not emitted to the outside, but still recommends not to turn up the volume too far.

Sound-wise, Nova Audio compares the H1’s acoustics to augmented reality technology, where a layer of sound, like music or a phone call, is added to the existing layer around you. So isolation is not something the H1 can or even wants to achieve.

Crack point battery life

Weighing just 7.7 grams and measuring 27.3 mm x 17.5 mm x 13.2 mm, the audio earbuds are also comfortable to wear. However, the battery life of the Nova H1 is manageable, which is only supposed to provide 3.5 hours of music playback or 2.5 hours of phone calls before they have to take their place in the charging case again.

However, this adds three additional full charges, so that up to 14 hours of battery life are realized in combination with earrings and charging case.

Four highly sensitive MEMS microphones are supposed to ensure clear speech intelligibility, while the two speakers are supposed to deliver a high bandwidth with low power consumption. However, the manufacturer does not go into concrete detail with the specifications.

The noble audio earrings Nova H1 can be ordered now directly from the manufacturer. Starting from a recommended retail price of 595.00 euros for the silver model, while the gold variant is priced at 695.00 euros. The choice between ear clip and ear stud is possible for both variants free of charge.
