OBSBOT Tiny 3: Professional spatial audio for immersive streams
The Tiny 3 sets new standards for webcam audio: The Intelligent Directional Mic System combines an omnidirectional microphone with two directional MEMS microphones to achieve spatial sound while focusing on the person speaking. Lateral noise is reduced without the need for aggressive post-processing.
Five audio modes – Pure, Spatial, Smart Omni, Directional and Dual-Directional – allow flexible adaptation to different recording and streaming scenarios. Thanks to 24-bit audio precision, 130 dB SPL and a signal-to-noise ratio of 69 dB, the Tiny 3 achieves sound quality that is otherwise reserved for stand-alone microphones.
The audio system also forms the basis for Voice Locator, a spatial recognition of sound sources. This allows the camera to automatically react to the active person speaking during live sessions, while voice commands can be used to control the camera.
High-quality imaging in an ultra-compact PTZ design
The image system of the Tiny 3 is based on a 1/1.28″ CMOS sensor with an ISO range of 100-12,800 and delivers excellent low-light performance and minimal image noise. The video output supports 4K with up to 30 fps and Full HD with up to 120 fps – ideal for professional communication and creative applications.
The camera uses DCG Single-Frame HDR to capture highlights and shadows within a single frame, eliminating motion artifacts. Autofocus works with Dual All-Pixel PDAF, and manual focus is available when needed, allowing for precise image compositions.
AI Tracking 2.0: Intelligent camera control
With Tiny 3, OBSBOT integrates AI Tracking 2.0, which previously made its debut in the OBSBOT Tail 2. Spatial audio is integrated directly into the tracking logic so that the camera always reacts to the active person speaking. Modes such as Only Me, Object Tracking and functions such as Composition Lines and Face Framing for professional image sections are supported.
Operation remains hands-free thanks to Gesture Control and Voice Control, making presentations or demonstrations possible without manual control.
Extended software functions for Creator
Integration with OBSBOT Center and OBSBOT Live transforms the Tiny 3 into a versatile production tool. Users can adjust image settings such as Exposure Gamma Curve, White Balance and Auto White Balance Offset.
