Rising electricity prices are driving more and more households to store solar energy themselves rather than feeding it unused into the grid—and this is exactly where the OSCAL Power Storage 2000 comes in, combining a microinverter, battery, and smart BMS in a single unit. Double Upgrade: 2400 W Solar Input and a True 3-in-1 System
The centerpiece of the OSCAL Power Storage 2000 is its solar input rated at 2400 W (4×600 W MPPT)—according to OSCAL, twice as much as most comparable systems (which are often capped at 1200 W). With a conversion efficiency of up to 96%, the device is said to be compatible with 99% of standard solar modules. The accompanying app also allows users to take advantage of Smart TOU optimization, which incorporates dynamic electricity rates from providers such as Nord Pool, Tibber, or Octopus Energy—according to the manufacturer, this can result in savings of up to 894 euros per year (when expanded with four additional battery packs), combined with CO₂ savings of approximately 3,619 kg.
From 1.92 to 9.6 kWh: Scalable capacity with instant switching
The capacity of the OSCAL Power Storage 2000 starts at 1.92 kWh and can be expanded up to 9.6 kWh with additional battery packs, which, according to OSCAL, should be enough to provide power for up to one week. In the event of a power outage, the system switches to UPS mode in less than 0.01 seconds, delivering a stable 1,200 W of backup power—fast enough to keep a refrigerator, router, or connected devices running without interruption.
Weatherproof and durable: IP65 and EV-grade LFP cells
For outdoor use, the Powerstation is IP65-rated for protection against dust and water jets and, according to the datasheet, is designed to operate reliably in a temperature range from -20 °C to 60 °C. The housing meets the UL94V-0 fire safety standard. The cell technology used is a UL-certified EV-grade LiFePO4 battery, which is rated for over 3,500 charge cycles, comes with a 5-year warranty, and has a specified service life of 15 years. A large heat sink structure (43,200 mm³) with five temperature sensors is designed to ensure quiet operation below 40 dB, even under full load.
Flexible installation options—balcony, garden, or flat roof
OSCAL touts a straightforward installation process that requires no major structural modifications: According to the manufacturer, the system can be installed on balconies, backyards, flat roofs, or sloped roofs alike, making it suitable for both rental apartments and single-family homes. It also comes with a 5-year warranty, local service centers, and a support hotline.

On paper, OSCAL’s Power Storage 2000 clearly positions itself against established balcony power plant storage systems: dual solar inputs, true 3-in-1 operation, and a system scalable up to 9.6 kWh are ambitious claims.
